Before I get onto my POV of the final event, I'll thank Dan once again for going through the effort of organising this league. The car and track choices have been great, and have made for great racing. If there is another season after this, I'll be back in the FZ though, the RAC is such a frustrating pile of shit sometimes.
Qualifying: Most of my laps were poor and scruffy during qualifying, and I felt slightly uncomfortable with the car for most of the laps, but I managed to string together a fairly safe lap which was enough for pole albeit by a tiny margin.
Sprint: The first couple of laps I focussed on building a gap up to troy behind me, which went perfectly until the tyres left me. I wasn't sure how long the set would last, and it turned out they needed more pressure. Still, I kept them from overheating too much, and held of a surging troy behind me to eventually take the win.
Feature: As ever at South City the traffic proved very tricky to navigate through. There are very few decent passing opportunities, so I became frustrated quite a few times. At the time I felt like others were defending slightly unfairly, but watching the replay, it was actually hard but fair defending. I was hoping to get through the pack with Hugo, but as he passed Kid for the lead, I lost 7 or so seconds trying to pass Kid myself. Watching the replay I should have defended into T1 the first time I got past him, as I left myself open for a counter attack, and that's what happened. I then lost more time with a small collision which resulted in massive oversteer and almost a spin, so the win was now out of the question. Still 2nd was still a good enough result to (provisionally) take the championship.
