The hype is every bit as warranted as any other console-exclusive title.
Look at the massive hype that surrounded Halo 3's launch. The console world went nuts for it. And they have just as much right to do that for KZ2 as well.
Just because the market is saturated doesn't mean that everyone has bought every FPS that's come out. I didn't. I haven't bought a FPS game since CoD4 because I have high standards and don't just jump on every new game that comes out.
And on the PS3 especially, a decent exclusive FPS is what it's been needing. Resistance was okay, Haze and Turning Point were crap. Compare that to the huge range of really good multiplatform FPS games or even just the good ones you can pick up for 360 and you get the very reason that a very good exclusive FPS is getting hyped like hell.
Add to that they're talking about bigger multiplayer matches than you can find on any other console game and you have another reason.
I'm sort of wondering why on earth the game SHOULDN'T be getting this much hype.
