Just a reminder that at 1750 GMT, the second round of FIA GT is started at Adria Raceway... Earlier today, Wendlinger got Pole 3 tenths of a second before the two Maseratis, and the Brixia Porsche of Martin Ragginger snatched Pole - the first time for Porsche at this track...
Might not fit THAT well into here - anyway, a reminder that the ADAC 24h race is on this weekend... And you can watch the whole race live on the internet: http://adac.24h-rennen.de/news ... 24h-live-im-internet.html (news bulletin in german) There will be two streams which will require DSL, the higher quality one even 2 Mbit download capacity... They'll be streaming from Saturday 15:30 to Sunday 16:30...
Additionally, you'll be able to watch where the cars are on the track on a live track map from GPSauge.de: http://adac.24h-rennen.de/news ... auge-auf-der-strecke.html (also in german) It has to be said though that only teams who choose to run the transmitter will be displayed - so it might be pretty scarce...
Some ALMS rumours, Audi might be "returning much sooner than anyone has anticipated"... and then rumours about Acura leaving (Nick Wirth wants to get back to F1), of course these are very much connected scenarios...
Webstream for the ADAC 24h is online... It's only ads at the moment, the real stream should start in a few minutes... I could make out two streams, both seem to be the standard DSL-stream... Anyway, here the URL to both streams (like last year really):
The live map is also online at http://events001.gps-explorer.de/ More teams than I expected to show, seems a bit slow though and the map itself fails to load...
You may not have noticed, but the only times there were anything else than static cameras and the odd interview were when the race was broadcasted on DSF, a german sports channel... So the next time you'll see something other than s/f-straight and paddock will be on Sunday from 13:00 to the finish...
