Completely agree, the pages are now loading faster, but it's just painstakingly slow at reacting to user input... Also, I really miss middle-clicking on the tab-bar to open a new tab and I find the icon-/address-bar being below the tab-bar just makes more sense for tabbed browsing than the conventional layout of FF...
Preventing against malicious scripts on those dodgy websites you stumble upon?
If you want JavaScript/etc so bad on a website, you are always free to allow it.
Ontopic: I just installed 3.5, only the video recording plugin i had with 3.0.11 isn't compatible. Has anyone tried the Acid3 test with theirs?
8/10 it is more of an annoying feature. That said, I don't use noscript (if you use it, read this and this ) anymore but yesscript - allow all + blacklist the annoying ones.
Well then how come every Firefox user spends hours upon hours installing and configuring extensions every version along with arguing about what is decent. it shows a lot about the base browser when its a linux distro to set up. That screams usability.
Well, I'm just saying. To add basic features like a "speed dial" which Chrome, Safari and Opera already has requires a slow and buggy addon? Smooth Scrolling? Need a plugin for that too.
Such a great browser, where you need a million addons to make it decent. Such a worthwhile piece of SHIT.
FYI: I just updated the Safari I had installed, guess what it is the same pos as is plain out of the box Firefox, I need to install addons to it too, to have it the features I want/"need" ie. Creammonkey, PithHelmet, something that does mouse gestures etc etc etc etc - what does that make it?
When will you learn to stop trolling and just stfu? You love telling people to stop talking about things they have no idea about, so follow your own advice for once, because you obviously have no clue.
Firefox is faster than anything else I've used. The extensions i use took all of 2 mins to install and set up.
You don't like it..don't bloody use it. For me it's better than anything else i've used, and the same obviouly goes for a load of other people.
Your endless shit in every thread is wearing very thin. You love everything Mac..we get it. Enough already.
If you're this argumentative with people in real life I'm surprised anyone bothers to talk to you.
Smooth scrolling is purely cosmetic feature from my point of view. And speed dial, what does it offer me that I can't get via bookmarks toolbar which is exactly one click?
I actually appreciate that FF doesn't come with a million features, and I don't use any plugins as I'm yet to find any that I would find useful enough...
