Quote from brt900 :the 1 series is cheaper and is rwd too, i think its shows more skill at car control imho the keyword is "REASONABLY priced", not overpriced, no matter how "cheaper than a 3 series" it is
It's the 1.6 diesel but for some strange reason it is automatic. http://www.webuyanycar.com/ValueMyCar.aspx?Reg=LC10PHF Oh and it's middle of the range.

Probably because a lot of the stars are American. Cee'd isn't a bad car for going to the shops in, but I don't think it was designed for on track-punishment if my Dad's 1.6 Diesel is anything to go by!

SPOILER ALERT Quote :in this first programme jeremy asks why there aren't more three-wheeled cars in the world and investigates further with a closer look at the 1980s comedians' favourite, the reliant robin. Meanwhile, james gives top gear's favourite warhorse, the toyota hilux pick up, one final assignment as he attempts to drive one up an active volcano in iceland; and the stig rips up the track in the new bentley continental supersports. Plus, richard gives the old chevrolet lacetti a dignified send-off before he and clarkson host a star-studded tea party to welcome in a shiny new reasonably priced car

It's the 1.6 petrol, 92.7kw / 124.3bhp @ 6300rpm and 154Nm / 113.6lb/ft @ 4200rpm. You can say it because on your link it says 1591cc, the diesel one is 1582cc. Source: kia.co.uk
