Quote from P5YcHoM4N :HAHAHAHAHAH! Alienware are junk. You are paying for the name. I'd rather lose my left testical then get an Alienware system.

You mean you still have your left testicle? I tought you gave that up for LFS licence ages ago

Quote from thisnameistaken :FTR: A friend of mine bought an Alienware PC, pretty much top of the range. It arrived and the case was cracked, so he sent it back. A few days later it arrived again, he started plugging it all in only to find no socket for his monitor, because the videocard had fallen inside the case (it wasn't screwed into the slot). He sent it back again, and this time told them they could keep it.

This isn't the first time I've heard almost the same story about Alienware. In fact, I don't think it's the 20th time either. The customer support is absolutely attrocious, from what I've heard. Nearly everything shipped is damaged in some way and is never fixed. That's the stories I hear.
I couldn't comment on their customer service, I dont know about that, but when you send a PC via courier the most likely thing to pop out is the graphics card - although i've never seen once come all the way out which does indeed suggest it wasnt screwed in - usually it pops up just a little bit, making it harder to explain to the customer whats wrong...
