5 - INSTEAD of asking for lfs to remain idle and stay with ancient graphics go search in ebay for a new DESKTOP computer.IF you have a friend that knows how to built a computer ask him if he can help you so if you buy only parts from ebay you can built a computer for even less money.

There's never really been a reason to talk about much, but how depressing would be an empty forum?

I'd rather have a forums full of people that ask the same question (when is it coming) over and over again than an empty forum with a user base who doesn't give a crap what you release. At least it shows a certain level of eagerness.

A forum has a reason to exist if people post something new in it from time to time.
How absurd is to have a forum about LFS when there's little to talk about it?
How absurd is to see people posting just for the sake of it rather than because they have something new to say.
The fact is, as you said, that there is nothing to say because no one i telling us what's going on in the details.
Is someone testing the new features other than the devs? Is there anymore than just tyre physics on the to-do list?
I can't just open a forum about something i do pretending to let you talk and post your opinion about it while i don't care much really.
There might be 90% of crap on this forum but if you opened it for a purpose you should read what users say and eventually tell them what you think about it.
I like the fact that we're not speaking to a corporate here and i'm glad money is not the FIRST thing those 3 are looking for out of this project.
But it would be really nice if one could say what he's up to right now, after all there's a community waiting for news and i think many of us are pretty sick of those continuous sliding.
In other words, there's no sense to let some people think you will pay attention to them and then do whatever you want like you were on your own.
It's not honest, truth is always appreciated.
We are all waiting for a release otherwise we wouldn't be on this forum on a regular basis.
