Hi, wasn't intending that he should fix it today! I wouldn't have if I was i him. Just meant that the bug was not fixed in April 2011 when the problem first occurred.

Why this bug pops up?

It seems there may be a small bug in the hotlap validation process. When a newly uploaded WR is deleted, it doesn't seem to always correctly reinstate the previous WR. I'll have to have a look at that at some point. But for now I can just run a script that rewrites all WRs and that'll quick-fix the problem.
This is a different bug than the bug in the OP though. That one was really fixed.

there are lots of mistakes like this:

DJOLE 01 instead of DJOLE 011
jinja jo instead of jinja jorj
arrowkar instead of arrowkart4
Rube_DriDrif instead of Ruben_Drifter
...

guess first 3 are like some limit of 8 chars to username? but what about 4th :S

i tried to make a clever abbreviator for that. It doesn't always work well though ... but it's needed for those charts with many configs, to save space. Aston already is too large actually.

edit - gotta say, i didn't know it was THAT crappy. Rube_DriDrif ?! how did it get to that ... well i could have a look, tomorrow or so.

I am now disabling the hotlap upload button for one second when it has been pressed. That way accidental double clicks won't occur anymore.
