Epically awful maybe, but I guess they can get away with awful acting and writing when it's not clear what accent if any they're speaking with.

I bet you only saw the trailer or a first episode and jumped to conclusion..

I watched a lot of it, I wanted to like it. My ten year old self would probably think it's the best thing on tv, plus it's history so it's educational, but I simply think it's rubbish, a winning formula of tits and gore that tv companies can always rely on, they don't need to worry about the writing and junk. Hollywood at its worst.

Sorry man but you couldn't be more wrong, it's the exact comment i would expect of someone who just saw one episode, or two and saw them totally judgemental..
I appreciate opinions but why people like to point so much that they're 'smart' here? You make it sound like it's some mind dumbing gore fest, while it just isn't. It's there but it's not what the show is about...
It's like people saying Walking Dead is a zombie show for kids who like COD zombie mode, totally missing the point..

Trance was friggin awesome. Take 28 days later's camera angles and trickery, add a inception-esque plot, and sprinkle (SPOILER) Rosario Dawson's tits and vag clearly shown for a good 10 seconds spread between 2 scenes and you have Trance.

Oh yeah and i saw spring breakers. No need of keeping it a secret but that movie shows tits pretty much every 10 seconds. Literally...

I'm sorry mate, but are you talking about the same show? Spartacus is a lot of gore and tits on the surface, especially in S1 and the prequel, but it's not like it's the only thing it has to offer. Have you not noticed the very well written characters? Spartacus is one of the few shows where I actually like and feel for the villains just as much as I do for the heroes - from their perspectives they're all doing the right thing and the story captures this very well IMHO. Battle and sex scenes don't drive the series, it's the storytelling and various subplots that does. If it wasn't for all the sex and brutality, it would have probably been a bit boring to watch sometimes, I'll give you that. However, if it wasn't for the characters and the rather new take on the whole Spartacus story, I wouldn't even bother finishing S1.

Well I've given every series a proper chance, and to me it's a bit too much of the gratuitous stylised battle, gore and sex scenes. Which is fine in small doses, but underneath that it's not excellent or epic at all. It might be good for a show that relies on those things to attract its target audience, but it's not actually good.

Again you're aluding that it's for Transformes fans or something, if you don't like it just say so, that is NOT the point of the show, it's the characthers, actually a great story, revenge, freedom, and you gotta congratulate them on sucessfully continuing the show after the tragic death of the main characther..

On Spartacus: I also finished S3 few days ago. The historical inaccuracy is just ridiculous. But I must say it seems it's still more accurate than original film from 1960.

Aight, so I was like forever alone tonight and whent alone to the cinema since I was borred (how said ain't that?), and watched

Well I did not know what to expect, but not this! The first things, yeah like 10 minutes into the movie everything goes totally batshit and by god damn cocktastic music it blew my ****ing mind all over the first ROW of seats! (which I by the way was the only one on, since I am forever alone but ANYHOW!)

Then it rolls on, and the movie is just a blast! Sure, it's an action movie, sure it has it flaws and plotholes, but I think I never seen such great special effect ever, and with some emotional rollercoasters here and there with action scenes and great music... well this movie was fantastic! Love it!

Anyone else seen it?
