I thought it was some kind of parody, i didn't know that english is an official language in Jamaica (just saw that on Wiki), it sounded so fake with that english mixed up all the time with "bombaaa klat", aaaaaaaaaarghhh what a movie! :bananadea
Watching Land of the lost last night, Will farrell film.

TBH, I wasn't expecting alot, but I bloody loved it, it was stupid, silly, totally mental, but bloody funny, been a while since I laughed so much in a film!.
Land of the lost didn't do the trick for me. Had to turn it off halfway through the movie.

I enjoyed other movies with Will Ferrell a lot more, like Step Brothers, Semi Pro, etc.
Even my missus was cracking up, infact we were both in fits at the "Do you believe in life after love" bit!!!.

Thats normally a good indication, because she doesn't generally like comedys that much.
I love Will Farell, the film can be crap as hell, but seeing his face will you make you crack up One of the most redicolous and funny scenes in a movie, ever, is when he's asking his mom to make him a meat loaf in Oldschool "moooom!! Meat loaf!!?!!" and the line "what's she doing back there, i never know what's she's doing there..."
Go see Zombieland as soon as possible.

Wedding Crashers, not Oldschool. but I agree, the meatloaf bit is ****ing hilarious, and the bit where hes like "I almost NUN CHUCKED YOU MAN" "COME HERE BROTHER GIMMIE A HUUUUUUUUG"

Pretty different mentalities, but I loved them both.

The cameo in Zombieland tops anything in Shaun, IMO.
It is a good cameo, although I do feel its a little wasted, and they could have done a lot more with it.

It wasn't a bad film per say, it just wasn't that good.
not a film but i highly recommend to see Twin Peaks series...
Quote from StableX :seriously, see the original.... I've just seen the remake and I much prefer the original...

Yea, i've heard it's no match to the original..

Also just watched The Proposal, i love Sandra Bulock so that was a plus, but i also like to watch these type of movies once in a while

Great one. Watch it.
Mou Gaan Dou (aka Infernal Affairs)

The inspiration for The Departed (or a blatant rip off depending upon your point of view) showing once again that some of the best scripts over the past 10 years have been coming form Hong Kong and the far east area. Have always kept an eye on films from this region ever since discovering Jackie Chan long before anyone seemed to know who he was, and it continues to bring talent and good scripts. The references to other classics such as Hard Boiled are there to be seen, and a gentle nod to one of the greatest far east directors John Woo, who thankfully seems to be heading back to Hong Kong to work on a couple of projects.

If you have seen The Departed, chances are that this movie may pass you by, but if you haven't then I can't recommend this any higher.

+1

I just finished watching it, awesome film, very funny and very cool.
Das Boot. Really hammers home just what it must've felt like to be on a sub during WW2.

Recommend a film you've seen lately.
