The mass dampers are going to be allowed at Hockenhein even though the FIA banned them last week. See:

That should favour Renault this weekend. I must say I couldn't see why the FIA banned them. They seem like a good bit of innovation to me and clearly they are more focused on mechanical rather than aero grip.
