The online racing simulator
Looks like they also fixed the shadow rendering in long distance on the cars, No more blobs, now you can see a clean and clear shadow
Dev build? data at the bottom and right
What is wrong with that video, FOV, driving aids, or something, cause that doesn't look anything like 370z i drove, twas one of the best cars in GT5.

SRF is on, like in the other video taken by him
Also GT6 has totally different physics to GT5

edit - quote from Radio le Mans

Quote :I was listening to this week's Midweek Motorsport (Series 8 Episode 19) on Radio Le Mans and they briefly talked about GT6. They were at the Silverstone event and the Nurburgring 24h, so what they said could be accurate. Nick Daman had this to say about the new tire physics:

"(Polyphony) are really moving ever more into the hardcore sim environment... They are actually now modeling things like sidewall flex and actually looking at the way different tires would grip the road; be they old fashion cross plys; be they modern radials; be they slicks... If you've got a car that's running on old fashion high-sidewall tires, even if it's got the same amount of grip, it's NOT going to handle the same way. And they've modeled all of that... snip...You can get new wheels for (a car). You get the new wheels, it's not to make it look different, it will make it handle different with the new wheels... (adding larger diameter wheels) will change the way it handles.""
If you've never listened to a live broadcast by Radio Le Mans or listened to one of their many podcasts, please do so; they are great, and they cover all things motorsport. Their website is www.radiolemans.com and this episode of of Midweek Motorsport can be listened to directly http://audio.rpix.org.uk/mwm/8/mwm8-19.mp3 or on iTunes. GT6 is mentioned in the final 10 minutes.

A lot more bodyroll, pitching and diving

the car roll looks interesting in that vid. though I haven't played GT5 in a while, maybe its the same
Car roll

I'm loving the arcade physics and the steering wheel that only moves 2 degrees in this game.
To me it looks like some mobile game physics, honestly, i have no idea why.. the camera is wierd or something.
that's not Gran Turismo 6 in a video...that's GT5.....lol
Quote from Speedster23 :that's not Gran Turismo 6 in a video...that's GT5.....lol

Look at the body roll, its not GT5.
Doesn't look anything like GT5's Autumn ring.
Alot more shrubs on the hills, different lighting, and the sun is actually moving and time is advancing, both on the track and the car's clock

GT5 was really dark inside the car due to the poor dynamic range of the HDR lighting

Look at the way GT5's cars go over the same curbs - like a plank of wood
3:45 onwards

So no close racing yet? You still start 50 seconds behind the first car and your mission is to win the race banging other cars? Great improvement...
Will buy it anyway, but come on...

Why?
I think the only way to get the message across is to vote with your wallet, Assetto Corssa and rFactor2 are shaping out to be much better than GT6 anyway.
GT series turned into a CoD, buying it will only send a message that it is perfectly ok to improve graphics just a bit and release it as a new game.

Gran Turismo has always been like that. Two games per console, and the second one was more or less an upgrade to the first. GT2 and GT4 were like that, and those two are both said to be better than GT1 and GT3.
@ACCAkut
And I would say yes, with one major difference.
Every GT prior to GT5 set a standard, it was number of cars, graphics, physics.
GT5 on the other hand not only haven't set a standard of any kind but in most aspects its pretty much average or even worse than previous game (seriously who come up with that soundtrack)
While in previous GT you had qualifying in GT5 you start at the very end and for given number of laps have to chase number one where rest of the grid is underpowered obstacle with horrid ai.

I mean, even before this was considered and outdated mechanics but it wasnt all that noticeable on psx where attention to details like this wasn't a standard, on PS2 you had qualifying to sweeten the deal and GT3/4 outdid everything else with graphics, number of cars and physics.
But on PS3 this become a bit more than just outdated mechanics, now its feels archaic to say the least, I am struggling to think of an aspect in which GT5 goes above average and reading about GT6 I am a bit worried that it will be GT 5.5 with pretty much the same physics but improved suspension, you seen those gameplay vids does it look like anything you would expect a sim to handle?

LFS has the physcis, but nothing else, iRacing has the "professional" multiplayer system, but everything else sucks, Assetto Corsa unfortunately is not what I expected (Force feedback problems, I hope is solved in the final release), NetKar Pro has uninteresting content.... haven't tried rFactor 2 yet, but I don't have much hope after checking a couple of videos. GT5 is not perfect in any way but it checks every box with a decent mark, and that's why it gives me the best overall experience and I will buy it.
Its really missing competition. There used to be that Enthusia Profesional Racing, which has put GT a little in perspective. I haven't played it really (only demo), but back then, i was young, stupid and fanboing much. GT5 i couldn't and can't get into anymore. There is barely any evolution and many things seem to be just to take a pretty picture (like the cockpit... unter pointless)

Can't they just get 1 guy to make some better soundstage?
Quote from JazzOn :many things seem to be just to take a pretty picture (like the cockpit... unter pointless)

I couldn't agree more and I think you can copy and paste that for AC too btw. It seems that console gamers nowadays aren't really in to racing games or car simulations, they just want a virtual spray can and a virtual camera.
Quote from sinbad :I couldn't agree more and I think you can copy and paste that for AC too btw.

Aren't AC tech demo was praised for great physics? I remember people saying it feels like LFS minus whole visual tire deformation.

Quote only referring to AC visual details which are nice in pictures but aren't at all necessary for a serious simulation.
You have to cut them some slack for having the steering wheel in sync unlike so many other interactive videos

Well, I dont know, I cant enjoy racing game with bad physics no matter how good it looks but at the same time I want the game to create good looking, atmospheric and convincing surrounding in which I could immerse easily.
I mean is there is anything better than to be in cozy cockpit, during the rain, with soft and monotone sound of windscreen wipers and rain on the roof.

I think I got this fetish in Toca World Touring Cars, after a hard race during late evening with storm around.
