It was also fun, have to get more prepared next time. It was awfully hard to drive MRT5 without handbrake in first times, but after all, too low skill.

One two three and the winner is he! Who is he? The world record holder of one of the most hotlapped combos - Joona - came yesterday by and successfully defended his honor of being fastest in this combo,he collected to his account 2nd win,2nd pole position and 2nd fastest lap of the race in his 2nd finish in RTFR. Also his pole position was 29th for Finland,thus tying Latvia in leading position in most pole positions chart,while his fastest lap of the race was the round figure of 30 for Finland. Polish first time participant Mikke finished 2nd,but 3rd was P.Butcher,who has now 6 top5 finishes. 4th place was 4th top5 finish for Toni and coincidentally 5th place was 5th top5 finish for Marex.

After usual 2 weeks break RTFR will return to racing with some of the race cars wearing slick tyres,make sure you don't miss the race if the combo happen to be a good one for your taste!

Not sure if this ever happened here before,but it was about time that someone pulls a "Litmanen" here and yesterday it was done by S.Litmanen himself - after starting last,he rallied throug field and took the lead in lap 6 and never gave it up to finish first. It was his first win and 2nd top5 finish and also 2nd fastest lap of the race. After improving his best qualifying position here,Sermilan finished 2nd for the 2nd time here in his 2nd attempt to race,but his teammate Schuberth completed the red/green/white only podium by finishing 3rd - it was 2nd top5 finish also for him,upgrading his previous best finishing position by 1. The rest of top5 was filled by red/white/reds - 2 latvian drivers took 4th and 5th,Marex finished 4th and it was his 6th top5 finish,but 5th was Rony with his 54th top5 finish.

We will slow down the pace next time as there is no faster car then FO8 that uses slick tyres,so there will be a chance to excel for those,who likes less grip.

PS. Results were delayed due small technical problems...

Unfortunatelly this was another proof that no matter how unique and new the track is,if the combo is too difficult,the LFS's "average Joe" is not much interested - this was the least attended event from last 10 RTFR events. Anyway - there still was great showcasing of skills,including learning to take most from partially unknown track and even if qualifying seemed to go easily one way,P.Kubinji was able to get very close to polesitter's time. Unfortunatelly 2 of 3 fastest qualifyers did not start the race for their reasons,leaving the win in hands of M.Wentjärvi,who took yesterday his 3rd win,3rd pole position and 4th fastest lap of the race,adding also 4th top5 finish to his stats. Also this was 3rd win in row for finnish drivers,where each race had different winner,and with M.Wentjärvi's pole position,Finland now is a sole leader in most pole positions chart between countries with 30. Y.Laprevotte was best of the rest and finished 2nd,17th top5 finish for him,UM21 took the final podium step with new personal highest finish here,2nd top5 for him. Rony had a lonely race and finished 4th,collecting 55th top5 finish,T.Soini had an opponent a bit closer,but still finished 5th with a safe gap,12 top5 finished now in his account.

So we found out that with a bit of work the "hidden" track in South City is very raceable and features quite interesting and challenging turns,which would be much more enjoyable with scenery around (wink wink,Eric),so I will dare to use it sometime in future again. But most likely not in next race,coming in 2 weeks,which will feature one of the faster race cars.

I think one of the reasons this event wasn't as successful as most of the other fun races is that the track is unheard of meaning that a bit more practise than usual is needed and that the car isn't the most popular either.

My bad our ppl didnt attend. I got into hospital on Friday and got out on Sunday, been sleeping a lot since then. You are racing every other tuesday until when? I got to adjust our mrt cup times so that the races will be always on the days when you are not having a race

The race in this very short track had unexpected high attendance and this was the most attended RTFR since the inaugural Rockingham event of 118th RTFR. But to spoil the race for all the win aimers,this race was invaded and dominated by group of people,who like to call themselves Jamaicans. Fastest of them was a very known FXR specialist Joku123,who brought to Sweden it's first pole position,fastest lap of the race and victory,since he races in LFS under Swedish flag,it was also his 3rd top5 finish. 2nd was Mara,who improved his previous best position by one spot with his 2nd top5 finish,3rd - Matti,who tied winner's fastest lap of the race to add 5th one of these to his achievements,it was also his 5th top5 finish. 4th was Ukuli with his 4th top5 finish,while also Toni scored his 5th top5 finish by finishing 5th.

Again a small negative note (probably will not be seen by most targeted racers) - it is understandable that track is very short and hasn't too much easy overtaking opportunities,but everone should be the master of their tempers and not other way round! A lot of contacts were made during this race,especially in first few laps,this is not the way of racing Race Green Events is promoting,everyone should be more patient and respectful to opponents! Since noone had official complaints,this again will fall in deeply archived area of our memories,let's hope and try for better future!

In 2 weeks another RTFR will be offered,race probably will be slower in terms of average pace as last racetrack was relatively slow,but just one thing is sure - we will have one of road going cars waiting for a spin!

Well, I definitely want to join this, marked on my calendar so I probably won't forget it like I did the last races...

Coming back to LFS after quite a while, I just upgraded to S3 just to join this event hope everything works out and I manage to attend ;-)
