with a bit of luck its all well written (portable) c/c++, then it should be quite easy to make it run native
The only major bits that should be really altered are removing the interface - hmm, daemon goodnes - and swapping out the sockets layer, assuming no VC++ specific objects have been used..

So why not make a petition/poll to ask users opinion, maybe whe can convince Scawen that we are very very hungry for a native linux dedicated host!

How many of us would like to put it runnig on our paid webhosts, like me!
Scawen already knows we want one, trust me As for polling normal users/racers about it; I dont think many would give 2 shits. As long as they can race and as long as its stable many wouldnt mind, nor notice the difference. Its a pure geeky administration thing.

As a little aside, running an LFS daemon on a webserver might be against your ToS - its something you should really check. Sometimes theres even restrictions if you've got a physical or virtual rented dedicated server. Unless if you've bought rackspace and are colocating the server, of course.

LFS can really eat through your bandwidth allowance too

Edit:
As said through this thread, you can run LFS on your linux servers. You just need to have the privileges to install and configure certain packages
