For all standard LFS cars there are already made template with layers: http://www.barkingpig.org/msz/pages/kits.php
Since few versions ago you can also get all needed templates straight from the game. It's described in 4th dot here: https://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Skin_Tutorial#How_do_I_make_a_skin.3F
