Wow, awesome stuff Bigdave.

Very nice. If you didn't have the light glare or the numberplate badge, I would have had no clue that wasn't real without looking very hard (but unless you're looking for something or think its fake, you never usually do look that hard do you....).
Had a lil go tonight.. i'm not sure what to think of it so i'll let you comment

first pic is before.. 2nd is the one i've done.

Nice, now can you lower it a bit? Looks a bit high right now.
Digimods is probably best place for tutorial. You can learn the basics of their and then its just practise.
The rx7 i posted in at the top of the page was a simple copy -> paste - > resize -> blend in. But recently i have gotten into designing my own things for the cars and having to brush everything on. Which as im a noob at it am finding it difficult but practise makes perfect.
thnx.
next effort..

Nice, looks like LFS damage model Good effort, I wish I had adobe photoshop, there are a few things I can't do Like colour variant to blend stuff in, my eraser doesn't work like it should... ugh

the epclipes was my first car i did

The golf was started just never got around to doing the rims and colouring and mixing in the bodywork, someone can take over that one

i finished the golf for you

i wasn't sure if i liked the wing on the back, so i took it off..but this is what i did..

rims, window tint, color matched the body kit(kinda, still needs work), shaved door handle, lowered, played around with a purge valve, headlight eyebrows, clear taillight

i think that's it..i don't remember anymore...lol.

looks fab

i just lost interest in it, well done, i like the purge
thanks, that was the first time i tried doing a purge valve, so i wasn't sure how it was going to come out..lol.

updated the pic...blended the body kit in a little better.

Just did a s2000 as well.

I love how easy it is to put a side scoop in the door..lol...and it looks good on 99% of the cars

Number 1 rule of photshopping cars...NO LENS FLARE!

Other than that those are good efforts, i remember my first cars...my very first was a Aston Escort...i blended to front of an aston martin with a for escort
i tried a 350z but its hard to find a decent picture, the golf is looking good, i like the s2000, looks classy

i did virtual tuning few years ago. thats where i got my PS skills. was quite fun
Quote from dave4002000 :lol...ok. why not?

I have to agree. I just don't think it looks realistic the way it's done in photoshop. It's just a shame when you're made something awesome and completely realistic looking and then the lens flare gives it away.

ok, i get what you guys are saying now. Yea, i agree that it doesn't look realistic at all, but it is a cool effect just to play around with.

I promise from here on out, i will never use lens flare when photoshoping cars
Quote from ATC Quicksilver :I bet i can change your mind, if you see some quality pieces of work rather than my poor efforts.

Just a few examples, far better to ruin a picture of the car than to actually ruin a real one.

Hey the very first pick, the beemer, my friend did that one with his mate.Miler is my friend, dont know the other guy.

He showed me a step by step on how he did this, he saved it in stages. Just amazing. It was actually an Aston Martin DB something...I cant remember and they made it into a beemer. He has some stunning work. True photoshop guru that guy!illepall
