The online racing simulator
www.dabs.com has it for 150.99 and others on froogle are a little cheaper but availibility is a few weeks.

Anyone know any cheaper and instant availibility?

Thanks all
Instant availability..not in the UK mate. Closest thing to that I know of right now is Gameseek, and perhaps ordering direct from Logi would be a day quicker.
Thanks

Will just have to wait.
Quote from chrislow :bought my g25 on fri 13th, for a bargin, rrp AU499, I got it for AU430. I must say, it is exceptional quality. I just need somewhere to set it up

i bought mine for 499 aud,

and one of my mates bought one the day after me for 445 aud :P

oh well,

that happens.
To all those who live in a country where you drive on the left hand side of the road.....

When you get your new G25, are you going to shift on the left?
ATM, i've got a DFP which shifts on the right, but i'm going to have my shifter on the left, anyone else going to do the same.

Of course
mrfell, definately. Having a proper shifter on the right feels so unnatural..
A little OT question on those left shifters, are there RHD cars that have the shifter on the right? Like in the door, or just nexto the wheel. I remember seeing it somewhere but I'm not sure.

I've seen one or two, but they were either customs or reasonably old vehicles (make / model escapes me atm).
I've not seen a RHD car with the shifter on the right yet. I have driven some old pickup that had it behind the steering wheel where you normally expect an indicator stalk though, that was pretty weird.
The Ford GT40 (the old one) had the shifter on the right, AFAIK...

yep
i use mine on the left for all games

its so much better than my dfp in that aspect

right hand shifting feels weird to me,

people on the other side of the world would be completely opposite,

so it depends on where you learnt to drive :P

scuse the horrible pic quality, its a mobile phone

Wait a sec. what about that, your using a £200 Wheel with a £24 sim
I chose to cancel my order for a G25. I felt the money could be better used else where (like going towards a plane ticket to Canada, or just pressies for people at christmas) and maybe grab a G25 next year.

Sucks that I wont get one for ages now though, but I'll live.
are these available anywhere in the U.S. yet?
Quote from Cue-Ball :Available through Dell and CDW.

thanks I assume they are in-stock and shipping already?

Must be really handy for those endurance races!
omg typo i forgot the second t
It happens to everyone, no worries.
w00t, got mine today!

Lovely wheel, great subtlety in the FFB. The shifter seems ok too; like others, not fussed on the clicking, or on the 'push-down' bit but no biggie. Pedals are great, tho heel-toeing is a bastard huh!

Love it so far, very good value!
