Anyone farmilliar with the two spike electrical testers electricians use? well,
two Decembers ago when I was working at the above trade I was getting a bunt off a work mate to replace a bulb in a tree(x-mas decorations) and I didnt see the two 6-inch spikes sticking out of his breast pocket.
I got at the bulb okay, but as I went to jump off his hand I slipped and the two spikes right through the two holes in my nose and out the top..fu**ing painfull sh*t.
Maybe we can all PM shaun with our own personal tales of silly injuries and start a regular monthly column with diagrams, photos and an injury of the week slot, or maybe we could just go race LFS against eachother instead and stop filling the O/T section with crap, pointless (much like Shaun's pencil) posts...
Come on man, he's like, 8 years old? The offtopic-forum should allow a little chatting here and there
OT : My mum stepped on my toes last week, and they still hurt
Meh, I done this at school once, was bored in maths with my pencil in my hand, was holding my arm with the pencil in it upwords with my other arm, it slipped out of my grip and somehow the pencil went flying into my leg.
Subsequently (Sp?) I let out a few swear words and got chucked out, it was bleeding but the led being stuck in my leg kinda stopped that, now i'm reminded of that day by a small black patch on my leg. (Managed to get most of the led out but 1 little bit stayed)
Al, I go on a rally forum (biritsh rally.com) and when I 1st joined a few years back it was just starting out, however they tried to stop the OT section as it was basicly OT, but what they found was these OT people still wanted to post there crap so it overflowed into the actually rallying sections. What i'm saying is if the OT section wasn't full of OT posts (Which is why it's here) they would overflow somewhere else on the forum.
And if people don't like the OT section then they shouldn't view it, simple, as some people like to share silly things with others, like this thread or games to amuse you while at work etc etc.
Hm, I've a small black patch in my left arm, where one would usually draw blood / insert drugs, but I can't remember ever poking myself there with anything that would leave something there (and in fact, at all )..
In a textiles class, a 'friend' of mine stabbed me with a pencil, so I rammed his hand in the sewing machine I was was working on. He still hates me now...
Indeed they do, reminds me of when my bicycle steering device collided with car and hit my brother (don't even ask....), it really did bleed a lot and I sure was scared, he could get killed as it was bad spot
But really accidents do happen, we are so incapable of controlling ourselves that is why they just will happen when they happen, minimizing damage is best we can do when those things happen.
