Too bad it isn't,
I got a Logitech Momo Racing...
so only 270 for me...
I would like to have a DFP though, but it came too late for me when I bought a wheel.
Because it makes your argument against 45 degrees even more stupid. The amount of degrees needed to catch the slide doesn't really matter at all as long as not everyone is using the same amount of degrees. You can turn 36 degrees in lfs WAAAAY quicker than me with DFP and 720 degrees. Does it make lfs 'no sim' for me now? Because for some people things are easier? Eh.. Whatever.
No, it makes LFS 'more sim' because your steer has more degrees...
For others it's less sim, however(!) If you think, the others are quicker than me because they use only 270... And you want to be quicker, then you choose that...However it's less sim.
But you know...
I think it's ok with me now...
Or actually I'm forced to
let me remind you that hp doesnt have to do anything with the lock.
drifting doesnt require too much power anything above 110hp is fine if you ask me.
theres one ae86 on d1 with 150hp and has more lock angle.
lajosh 110 is not enough. Ina normal road car, the minimum is said to be about 175. The D1 AE86 wighs only about 800 kilos or so, bare that in mind. And it's more like 200 than 150.
your only problem here is just that you dont like me :P
but who cares? i was just saying that IF you are a gripper and dont really know anything more about drifting then it is gay/stupid JUST dont bother us in our fun! okay?
so now i cleared it for you. if you still cant understand this then youre who is not intelligent enough.
btw your avatar lacks creativity. :haha:
this thread is now against my person.
its not about the lock angle anymore because nobody can tell us a correct and true reason why not to change back to 45 (or even more) degrees.
Hi, I just searched about that, but, from what i read, it is the efect that a wheel spins faster on the outside of a turn, than the wheel that is on the inside of the turn. But this is already simulated in LFS, just grab any car non-4x4 and put one of its tracking wheels on the air, on a sidewalk for example, or a curb, and if u acell, you will see the wheel on the air spin and the one on the ground dont, showing it has the diferential (dont know if this is the right translation), that makes 1 wheel spin more than the other with mecanical system.
Anyway, i dont see the point of not adding stuff to the game, if you dont take out others that ppl like... i would love to have a custom track builder, so i would make a rally track with pour tarmac, instead of dirty-pour tarmac, just want all the track with pour tarmac.
