Quote from Hankstar :I don't think I've ever stabbed myself but I have, at various stages in my life: face-planted the corner of a coffee table at 2 (according to parents, I can't recall that far back) which split my lip open; carved into my index finger at 5 years old while making a fritz sandwich, reaching the bone and leaving a scar that's still there 25 years later; stapled my own hand at 6; run full speed into a wall head-first whilst escaping my brother at 7; run full-tilt into the handle which tightens the net at a tennis court - with my neck - at 10; slammed my own finger in dad's car door at 14 (the actual latch part too!); smacked myself in the forehead with the back of an axe at 15; carved a chunk out of my heel with the same axe at 16 and there's also a whole bunch of (mostly) head injuries between all those dates, the most recent being a hacky-sack related incident where the back of my head met the concrete at full speed (the same part of my head that hit the concrete at full speed at a skate park a year before) and I ended up in casualty with a very worried mate (I forgot I'm not Jet Li and can't kick that high ). My favourite hospital visit: 24 years old, carted to casualty at 4am by my hungover (still drunk, most likely) mate because of a serious asthma attack. It was the same hospital where dad was having a bypass. I called mum at 8 a.m. and said "Hi ma, guess where I am?" Poor thing nearly required surgery herself

I'm not sure if all those head injuries had any effect on my ability to ... something ... I'm hungry ... oh, god, GIANT BATS!!!!

after all...ur still alive?
Hankstar- You are Jackass (from MTV, not you are a jackass) without a video camera!

Don't give him ideas
Yeah, I'm still alive. Still got all my own teeth too!

There's a (small) difference between me and the Jackass dudes: they hurt themselves frequently on purpose because they're idiots, whereas I hurt myself frequently by accident because I am a komplete klutz (which is a polite way of saying I'm a clumsy idiot). By the way, that was a short list Somehow, by some miracle, I haven't broken any bone larger than my middle toe (some nancy-boy was wearing hard plastic shinpads during a soccer game - of course I slide-tackled him and copped it). I came very close to smashing my wrist, head-firsting off of my BMX in a carpark once. Sprained it badly, still can't do pushups on it (as if I'd want to anyway). Couldn't ride for a month, but at least I didn't break it - plus the radiologist at the hospital was a cutie I went to school with several years before. *sigh* ah, Holly. I always knew she was smart. Looked great in hot-pants at the 1993 dance too Oops, tangent!
When I was about 14, I was riding through Gloucester docks at about 8pm and decided to bunny-hop up this small kerb. Unfortunately, above this small kerb, was a 1" thick chain to stop cars rolling into said docks. I hit the chain doing about 20 mph just as I hopped. The next thing I know, there are some people asking me if I'm ok. My Schwinn was ok, but I was a mass of bruises. Ahhhhh, the good old days...
ah, just a few months ago, i was closing my locker at swim team practice when the locker closed on my finger. Went into my flesh and could see some bone. I let it bleed a while, because i wanted to leave a big mess for the people to clean up. The people didn't even know how to bandage the thing, when they did i could slide the bandage off. It was perfect, because i always hated the place
LOL

"This'll show those bastards! I'll hurt myself - a lot - and bleed everywhere! Muaaahahahahahaa - I feel a little faint, actually - " THUD.
I closed a car door on my thumb once too. That's what you get in a hasty society!
I got a scar, still a bit visible, from when I was don't even know how young, and my sister let me go into the basement, while I was down there she turned off the lights, so I wanted to find the exit, but there was some wire in the way which ripped my leg open.
Another scar on the same leg (I used to call it my bad leg for all the bruises and scars it had), well, more precisly, foot: learning how to swim, I dove in like instructed, but a bit too close to the ladder thingy, which had a loose screw, which on its turn ripped my foot open. Just a bandaid helped that though.

Never broke anything yet though, and I wanna keep it that way!
When i was a kid, my cousin pushed me towards the heater radiators and i crashed my head right into the edge of it... They say she ran away like a cat :haha:but i don't remember the rest of that day anyway. I can still feel the crushed part when i press my finger.:faint:

Yeah Jakg, clearly you have a random blind spot in the exact place where your SHIFT key is

Ive had a few head injuries, they bleed like mad, although i wasnt awake at the time, i just woke up to see lots of blood (bicycle accident, got my trousers caught in the chain pedal bit, seized up and threw me off, which i smacked the head off the kerb.)

catching a finger in a car door when you slam it is one of the worst pains though.

Now I'm so happy I don't remember it too well
hım, lots of people with head injuries here. I wonder would a head injury stop you making a wr???
a head injury can end with a die or nothing may happen so it is hard to bet what happens

Moron!
i once injured my left eyebrow playing indoor bowls
#74 - mr_x
I have 2 scars in my left eyebrow, 1 scar in my right eyebrow and a scar about 4mm away from my left eye. Can't remember how I did any of them, aparently most of them were done when I was between age 2 and 5

I was always good at hitting my head as close to my eyes as possible and not damaging them at all! :P To the day I'm only slightly short sighted (just bad enough for needing glasses while driving)
i have a scar JUST to the left of my left eye , slightly under the eyebrow , i did it when i was i think 10 or something ... thought i could get the better of a traditional wooden dining table with unsmoothed corners ...

the table won.
