I'm not sure that this software supports it. Maybe there's a mod out there somewhere? Some forum software does support it [s][/s].
Quote from bbman :I'd rather have a [SPOILER]-Tag... Although [STRIKE] could be fun too... Spoiler one is on RSC.
Quote from Bob Smith :Bean0 - what benefit is that on a forum? You can type whatever you want anyway. Just for fun really, eg. I could put '/you smells' in my sig, and you would see it as 'Bob Smith smells'
/me slaps you would result in * AndroidXP slaps you (alternatively without the star and in different font styles) Seriously, these two would be useless, but there were already several occasions where I'd have needed a strikeout.
Quote from Davo :How does the forum know who /you is? Spoiler tags where mousover reveals text would be ace. It knows because you're logged in. Just like it says 'Welcome, /you' in the top right corner of the page.
That would be /me. But how does /you work? does it just target the last person in the thread to reply?
Quote from Davo :That would be /me. But how does /you work? does it just target the last person in the thread to reply? /me outputs the name of whoever posted it. /you outputs the name of whoever is reading it. eg, '/me gives /you a cheese sarnie' would show as 'Bean0 gives <reader> a cheese sarnie'.
