Quote from Viper93 :Still 1 out of 2 in the UK isn't bad, I think that guy is moving soon aswell =)

Yeah one of two is good - like my '84 Daytona Wink

As for the Corrado VR6 - tried to get one of those through an MOT for my cousin a couple of years back, it was a complete PITA to work on and after pricing up the parts it was uneconomical to repair. The Sciroccos were good though Smile

If the Clio floats your boat, also check the Citroen Saxo VTR (or VTS), they're similarly light and usually cheap as chips.
Apart from the fact that a Corrado is a little too old for my taste, it also sort of has a "reputation" here in Germany. Not that I would have anything against displaying an image that is somehow converse to my "real me", but if I wanted to do that, I'd rather go the opposite direction and drive an Opel Rekord or so.

What do you guys think about the second generation Seat Ibiza Cupra, btw (the facelifted one)? It's relatively light-weight, has 156 hp and it supposedly is a quick, nimble car. I also like it much better than the Leon from that time (it's smaller too).

Edit: All I can seem to find on mobile.de and at autoscout24.de is the Saxo VTS which has only 118 hp and even that is rather rare.
I guess you go pretty good with a Seat Ibiza Cupra. Not the worst car to drive, not the most unreliable car and you won't have any problems with getting mechanical parts for a repair because almost the whole car is made of VW stuff

It also weighs less than a tin can Wink
