There are classic car dealerships, but they are for old cars, E-Type jags and the like. Not really much in the middle.
Quote from P5YcHoM4N :Find the Japanese dealership. It's near the British independent dealership where you can buy Lotus, TVR, and Caterhams.

...so it's not on the map until i find it myself? ah
2 billion dollars?!?! Is that some cheat code? has to be. AFAIK there is no Lexus dealer. I haven't got Toyota either, maybe they come later or they have to be found.
So it is actually good?
Is it fun? Yes

Is it realistic? Oh god no

Is it good? what means more to you? LFS is still my game of choice, but TDU IS better on my Momo because my Momo feels so... crap compared to the feedback my G25 gave me
I'd say its certainly worth 'trying'. I can play this game in two ways.

1) analog gamepad bit of fun in 'normal' physics mode, doing some missions, races, having a laugh, using the TVout.. So I sit on the sofa, beer next to me, vroom...

2) wheel/pedals mode with 'hardcore' physics, being very very scared!!

I'm not easy to please and playing the 'normal' physics with a wheel is a little odd, but in hardcore mode its 'good' enough. It has forced clutch mode, H shifter support.

It just does some odd things with controller filtering or something.. There is always a good lag on the gas pedal. (blip, wait, VROOM). It also somehow reduces the amount of 'steps' in your controllers response it seems. The odd thing, with the G meter in view, it shows fairly quick response to the gas pedal but the sound happens a bit later.

The 'opponents' also annoy the crap out of me in hardcore mode, I wish it was just me and the traffic..

BTW, the traffic should learn how to drive! Often they don't signal but still make a turn onto a new road. So here I am, waiting in my Zonda, doing the look left/right thing, see a car comming.. It is not indicating so I suppose I have to wait.. Then it suddenly takes the turn! I've also had AI cars indicating the wrong way, or being on the 'turn left' lane and actually taking the right turn.. :O I hope they listen to my horn and see my middle finger...

Edit: Oh, and there is 'motion blur' at high speed, which is a bit tacky but other than probably slowing fps down even more, isn't too distracting

So what you're saying is... The traffic is like RL At least they make attemps to NOT hit you if you play chicken with them hehe.

The motion blur can be disabled, which I've done ("Radial Blur")
ive got this, just bought myself a mclaren F1, and the GTR version

they are cool as hell to drive!

Where can I get TDU from? If it's a beta, then I'll try it!
Does anyone know when TDU will be avaliable in the U.S.? Cant seem to find any info on the website.
North American release is Mar 20 AFAIK
Quote from Ball Bearing Turbo :North American release is Mar 20 AFAIK

I guess they set later release to there because they can't afford to have so many bugs and that uninstaller bug would cause some law cases where they would pay quite big amount of their wealth and income.

So they knew they will have crap product and decided to make money in stupid europeans that have no guts to sue such company and after they have found all problems and fixed they sell it in north America and make ton of profit as nobody don't care how shitty European release was.

Greedy bastards.
You realize I said MAR 20, not MAY 20 right? It's 4 days.....
Quote from Jakg :TDU IS better on my Momo because my Momo feels so... crap compared to the feedback my G25 gave me

I still can't figure what that sentence means

My guess is you mean your G25 didn't feel as good in TDU as your MOMO?

I don't feel comfortable with the FF. I'll load up LFS in the drag strip to get a better sense of specifically what is lacking.

But I heard the FF is much better in hardcore mode. Can anyone confirm? If so what is better?
my G25 gave me LOTS of feedback on LFS, now i'm back on my momo and LFS just doesn't feel... right anymore, and so a game that gives little feedback (like TDU) is much better

And they released it to Europe quite bit earlier and with bugs they already did know, but were too greedy to fix.
i think this game is... rubbish haha, but beautiful and considerably fun i think.
Well put, and very true.
Quote from Slidaaaa :i think this game is... rubbish haha, but beautiful and considerably fun i think.

yup, but damn addictive

downloaded a "best car per class" sheet, spent LOTS of cash only to realise it was a bunch of nonsense, atm i'm 24% on the way to completion (i know, is that all?!) and i've got a Sagaris, Z06, C6, Maserati, Gallardo and a 350Z, all fully tuned)

Yeah, I just played so long my hands hurt. Weaving in and out of traffic at 180 mph just never gets old.

I got the FF adjusted such that it feels really good. The challenges are sometimes very challenging.
