Hey everybody. I'm confused as to why there is always conflict between drifters and racers. What's the problem? Personally, I race a lot, and I'm fast; in FOX on BLGP I have the sixth fastest hotlap at 1.07.27, and I could go faster but I'm tired of hotlapping. Also, whenever I join a race that has like fo8s or gtrs, it takes me about one or two races to get on to the leader's pace in any track/car combo. Sometimes it takes longer, but I'm never the guy who joins a server and runs 5-7 seconds slower than the leader for two days.
But then, I also love drifting. I recently joined the Worx team and drifting is a lot of fun. I'd say I'm a little bit worse at drifting than racing, but I'm no spinner.
So I don't get it; I drift and I race, and I do both well so I'm not some n00b talkin as I'm sure many of you will assume, so why is there some conflict between drifters and racers? Who cares!?! Go drive!

No, I don't care about who's who, I care because I was just reading the thread about a demo racer not getting helped and somebody replied by saying they flamed them for either grammer, being a drifter, etc. etc. I've heard drifters talk smack about racers too. This is what I don't get and what I do care about.

The point is, this discussion has been held....countless times. I suggest to look for those using the search and don't expect to find too many answers in them.

This type of topic is not suited to a 'search' because each and every time the OP has something to get off his/her chest resulting in people like me and you trying to explain to the OP that we are sick of these threads as they only end up in people getting flamed.

How can there not be an answer? Do people not know what they think? I just want some legitimate racers who dislike drifters to say why and vice versa. I can't think of any arguments except like, 'drift takes no skill' or 'racers are n00bs.' These are pretty illegitimate comments although I've heard them before. I've also heard stupid remarks about one drifter doing something bad and then someone sayy, 'see, all drifters are bad.'
If it's been held before and you guys are annoyed by this, oh well.
What, we should just leave a problem unspoken for? I don't want to see suggestions threads for drifter's wants being stuffed full of flames about drifting being unimportant and how we don't need stuff for drifters. I'd rather people say what they want in this thread and leave those threads clean of flames.

This is a reply to joen's post, not csu1's. I agree with you csu, we need one place where drifters can go complain about racers and racers can complain about drifters. I don't know if two threads would be a good idea though because drifters wouldn't look at the racer's thread and vice versa. For now, let's have this thread be the place to complain.
