Ok, it may seem weird, but for me, this dream was really annoying!

I have widescreen LCD TV in my house (Well you know, stretches stuff,people etc.) , so It doesen't bother me at all nor my parents,but when my relative comes to us, HE ALWAYS switches TV from original 16:9 to 4:3 (4:3 makes sides of screen black, but doesen't stretch).

So my point is, my bad dream was, how he visited again and started watching TV , AND switching screen mode to 4:3 ARGHHHH pisses me off!

I saw a nightmare. The LFSForum crashed in it. Forever. Then it said Game Over and i woke up. lol.


Nah, i saw a nightmare, i was in the street, and saw a bus, which came down the footwalk. I had to jump to the street, then came a porsche that hit me. Then i woke up and noticed that my bed has broke down.

Hmm I think my worst dream is one I've had recently...

I woke up, and half my hair was gone...Like I lost 20 years of my life in one night...Had to go to school, etc, see all my friends with this embarrasment.
The dream wasn't that bad, but the fact that it was at least 5-6 dream hours, got me seriously!

When I really woke up, my mood was terrible, and I still thought I was almost bald. My roommates still wonder why I got up screaming with joy that day!

The dream I remember best as one of my worst nightmares, was just that I was at my old house (I still lived there then), and it was dark and I had to go in the basement, and there were ghosts. The house also wasn't completely has it was IRL. It had a double garage instead of one. The only explanation I have for this dream is that when I was little, I walked in the garage bare footed, and stepped into chicken gaze, and my leg had to get sowed up. I can't remember anything of that though, but maybe in my subconcious I know.

Good thing about my nightmares is, I can tell myself at all times to wake up. When a dream get's to freaky, I just wake myself up and go back to sleep hoping I don't dream it further on.

Also that I studied for my exams, and my results were far worse than anytime else when I didn't study. Oh wait, that happend today.

A horrifying dream, going to sleep, to find yourself doing laps in a F1 car, but then all of a sudden falling thru the pavement and falling and falling and falling and then dropping into you bed and waking up...

Haven't had a nightmare since this one from 3 or 4 years ago. I was in bed watching TV and flipping channels. About 1am I found this spooky-looking Japanese film so I thought I'd stick with it, being a fan of Japanese horror/suspense films (I later found it was called "Dark Water" - if you dig Japanese horror check it out). Basically, it freaked the crap outa me and gave me real spine-tingles Great stuff.

So, happy, I went to sleep. I dreamed I was being chased by big, strong, scary idiots so I jumped into a narrow little hole in the ground to hide from them. The hole then started to close around and over me and I couldn't breathe. I started panicking like a crazy person and thankfully woke up just as my brain couldn't take it anymore. When I woke, I was in the classic cold sweat. I was soaked, freezing and completely freaked out. I had to towel off and open up my half of the blanket to let the bed dry off for twenty minutes or so before I could get back in it.

After I regained my sanity I thought "that was f'ing cool!!" I love that a film can not only give me chills when I watch it but also inspire my brain to completely terrorise me in my sleep. Brilliant

I dreamed I was bowling and for some reason I needed something photocopyed ...I walked up to the counter in the bowling alley and asked could they copy these two pages for me. The person behind the counter sayes yes and askes me for exactley €13.50 ....i weant mad and asked to speak to the manager and out comes Jakg wth...I hate this forum.

no homo but..... i had a dream that 5 shemales tried to kidnap me and have there way with me , but i was like f_ck that and i ran. I got away but later i found my self being chased by midgets , But these werent any ol midgets..... oh no these were super strong midgets chasing me on bikes and trying to throw doo doo at me. I ran up da block and went into a gun shop ( it was closed but the door was unlocked) i ended up getting a choppa ( ak-47) and a glock .45 I peeped out the window and it was the midgets right on my ass. but before they went into the shop they started throwing $hit at the windows and at the walls. but that wasnt any ol $hit .... oh no no this was like a really really potent/toxic/ extra dangerous $hit. the $hit they was throwing at me started going thru the windows and doors as if they was shooting at me then BOOM! a shemale kicks down the back door. I thought to my self ohh hell no im not going out like this. So i grabbed my choppa and a drum clip ( 100 round magazine) loaded it and i started to squeeze the trigger but nothing happend. and before i knew it he .... or she .... or what ever u call the shemale .. well it grabbed me then more midgets and shemales joined in . Then i woke up.... omfg i was sooooooo scarred i mean come on midgets..... shemales. Chasing you and throwing doo doo at you. Man thats the most scarriest $hit ever and its so scarry because it could happen to any body in real life all of it can except the melting toxic doo doo.But ive never been so scarred in my life.

Perhaps not scary for those of you that drive those uber BF1-type cars 24/7, but it certainly is for me :

I was in an Audi R8 (LMP, not the turdish production car) racing in a huge endurance race (fictional). So, I feel fine for about 15 laps... until...

BOUM ! My steering AND brakes fail at the same time... My car drives right into a cliff wall who destroys my front-right (at this point I'm still "alive" somehow), then flying through trees with the car in flames. The car came to a dead stop hard and hit a wall...

For a second, I think : Oh nuts... I feel blood, gushing out my head...
But then, I realise it's all a dream - or more rather, a nightmare.

I used to get sleep paralysis a fair bit, although it hasn't happened for years. I'd wake up and for about 30 seconds it was just like I'd forgotten how to move. One of the most terrifying experiences I've had.

I once had a dream in which my face fell off. It didn't hurt or anything, it just fell off in front of the mirror. The wierdest thing was that the overriding emotion I rememeber was not pain, or fear, but one of disappointment, the kind you'd get if you broke a favourite cup or something - 'Oh, no.. and that was my favourite face too..'


I used to get lucid dreams a fair bit, although like the paralysis I haven't had it for a few years. I'd realise I was dreaming, but I'd never quite realise to the point where I could control things. I also had the ability to wake myself up if I realised I was dreaming and things were getting a bit too odd and scary.

Isn't the worst nigthmare, i wouldnt consider it a nightmare.... but it's kinda that way.
Anyways i was in a street going home, then a car followed us (i dont know who else was in the car, but i wasnt driving), then he noticed that we noticed he was following us, then we ran out of the street into a "park" (i dont know how to say it in english" and he were in the wrong way street, then another car closed our way in fron of us, we crashed, we stepped out of the car and the guy from the car that closed us started shooting at us. Then a guy that came with us in the car replied to the fire, he died, i grabbed his gun and i shot the guy. He wasnt dead, so i shot him in the head...then, everyone found out that i killed a guy, in the newspaper, TV, internet etc... and my life was "ruined" because i killed a bad guy

I've had few dreams, but they're mostly frustrating ones. In the most recent dream I've had, I was driving a car. After a few miles of small town streets I pulled up to a toll. A sign indicates were I am. It was truely paradise, I was at the 'Ring. Once I pay the toll, the gate slowly opens. I want to drive on, but the second I hit the gas I wake up.

My most frightening dream was was definetly provoked by watching too many tv shows about aliens. I am walking through my house to get a drink, when I look out the window. All of the sudden the window is full of blinding light, and a black orb descends from the sky. I begin to run to my parents room, along the way I see the orb moving along the side of the house. When I reach my parents room I try to wake my mom up. For a second It seems like the orb left, but then all the windows illuminate. I ask my mom to no response. As I flip out about how she's not waking up, a portall into the orb opens. Luckly it ends there. I wake up sweaty and terrified, then look over at the clock and slept for only an hour.

I know this is an old thread but whatever...

I always get bad nightmares when I have high fever. The worst is probably from more than a decade ago and generally the only one of which I can remember anything. I was about about 12 old and at the time I had few batman comic books I used to read. Well, in one of those stories batman gets tied down or caught up in some way into this gigantic roulette table with the giant roulette ball released. Well, in the nightmare I'm strapped in one of the holes of the table and this big ball looks like it is going to stop right on that one hole where I am. I woke up in sweat right before the ball crushes me painfully. Haven't seen that nightmare since then but nowadays my nightmares are more about falling and waking up just before hitting the ground. But then again I see nightmares only when I have high fever.

Can't say I didn't have few unpleasent dreams of that one story about a man getting his genitals crushed in a big beam lifting operation that went wrong...

Yeah mexico is ****ed up, i remember when i was a litle kid i saw a dead body at the exit of my school, a teacher got shot.

I used to live in Sinaloa (first place on violent things o/ ) and when i was in my bed at 2am for example i could hear guns shoting, scary but i was used to it, so is all the people there.

My worst and only nightmare I remember was me getting chased by some guy who looks exactly like Jigsaw while I was running up stairs that go around and around and they just wouldn't stop and then I drop on the stairs really tired and unable to keep going and he catches me with an axe, lifts it up and right when he's about to slash me open I wake up (obviously since you can't die in your dreams). The freaky part is that it was when I was like 8 meaning that Saw didnt exist :S.

I get sleep paralysis occasionally and it's scarier than any nightmare.

It happens when the part of you brain that stops you physically acting out your dreams while you're asleep doesn't get switched off when you wake up, kind of the opposite of sleepwalking (where it switches off while you're still asleep). You wake up, but you're completely paralysed. Its almost like you've forgotten how to send the signals to your arms and legs to tell them to move.

It only lasts less than a minute and doesn't happen very often, but it's absolutely terrifying when it does happen.

Well, where should I begine, what is my worst nightmare? I have had so many screwed up ones I don't know what's worse...

Well, ony of my worst nightmares occured when I was little.. I remember each detail still -

In the dream I wakes up. Everything is in negative, meaning white is black and black is white, really screwed up and scary. Aswell people having no faces, they are just grey/dark flat faces without emotions or similarities to a normal human beeing... still they acted normall and probally that freaked me out some. But the worst part was this person, running around with a knife. It was not a ordinarry knife, but a bad-ass knife that were rusty and full of blood. This person actually had a face, scary as hell. His mouth was zipped togeter by stings, and his eyes was dark, emty.. When you saw into them you saw nothing, and I canot describe but that was so scary.. Either way, he starts chase me around, I try to run but of course in dreams you canot manage to run fast, even if I run like my legs should fall off.. This person reaches me and starts with puting his knife into my right eye, and seriously - even if it were a dream it felt like pain, horrific pain, he draws out his knife while I am paralyzed of fear, takes up the eye from the knife and squeeze it in his hand while he laughs. Then he says "let's have some fun, right?", and then he takes the knife and stabs it in my stomach, again in the dream it felt like pain but anyway - while I scream and are horriffed in the dream he starts to move his knife from upper chest to lower stomach, meaning he completely "opens" me up. Then he takes the knife and stabs me right into heart - then I wake up.

Tok me 1 week before I could sleep normally, worst neightmare I ever had..

All 'regular' cases of sleep paralysis were scary the first couple of times, and it's just annoying when you feel it happening over and over again (even on your side) when all you're trying to do in your half-drowsy state is to fall asleep again :P
These days when it happens - maybe once every 2 months or so, I just take on the challenge of trying to break free of it, which sometimes works quite well.
