That one was really good and so true

Ricers (partially other tuners too) here take always basic model with smallest engine, like 1,3 litre (fwd naturally) and put all those big wheels, wings, bodykits and nos stickers to it, somehow I found out this very funny
Hahaha, pretty good find steve

I have an Integra, but I refuse to rice it out like some people want me to illepall I cannot stand the wings, stickers, and funky bodykits, ackkk... I just like a plain old functional japanese car.

A plain bodykit with nice wheels and no wing and decals is ok as long as you do a nice clean job.
Saw this video on another site. Some parts of it are funny, others are old jokes about ricers "I think we just got passed by a weedwacker dude" LOL!
LOL

love the weedwacker part!

Thats pretty good, Aweedwacker... and it had 9 gears! lol
I don't know what a weedwacker is, perhaps that is why I didn't find that his act funny at all... no originality what so ever.

Never mind "weedwacker", I don't know what a "ricer" is. illepall

A ricer is someone that puts a table-sized wing in a 1.5 litre diesel FWD car, and when stopped, looks at you like he were driving a 360 Modena XD.

You know, all of that NFS:Underground tunning thing.

EDIT: Ok, I listened it more and I got it XD
Its a Traction Device. Good idea of putting this on the rear of a FWD
That video cracked me up pretty good there. :clapclap:

Can't agree about "only 4 cylinders" part though, you don't need a oversized yankee V8 to pull decent power off a motor illepall
So the word "Ricer" is used to infer that the cars defaced are usually of Oriental origin? Or is that only in my head? illepall

That's exactly how i understand it. Ricer comes from Rice and Race.
It's a term that defines 'tuning' an asian car to look like a race car.
Usually, it reffers to pointless tuning. Any car that can do the 1/4 mile
in 12 seconds shouldn't be called a ricer...

'Ricing' does seem to have asian origins in the first place. Asian culture
has always been strong on decorations. What's the name of those trucks
with all the lights and shiny stuff again ? I just call it asian kitch, but i
wouldn't want to insult anyone from asian descent just because some
dumb ass buys a Honda and needs to match his purse to his shoes, his
22" shoes .
"yea it sounded like he was in 9th gear .. heard him shifting for a while there"

lol how true when you think of 2fast 2furious, how many of you here have ever just watched the movie to count the number of times they shift.. i did once, i think i lost count, but im still trying to figure out why they were shifting so much on the highway lol
