Ricers (partially other tuners too) here take always basic model with smallest engine, like 1,3 litre (fwd naturally) and put all those big wheels, wings, bodykits and nos stickers to it, somehow I found out this very funny
I have an Integra, but I refuse to rice it out like some people want me to illepall I cannot stand the wings, stickers, and funky bodykits, ackkk... I just like a plain old functional japanese car.
That's exactly how i understand it. Ricer comes from Rice and Race.
It's a term that defines 'tuning' an asian car to look like a race car.
Usually, it reffers to pointless tuning. Any car that can do the 1/4 mile
in 12 seconds shouldn't be called a ricer...
'Ricing' does seem to have asian origins in the first place. Asian culture
has always been strong on decorations. What's the name of those trucks
with all the lights and shiny stuff again ? I just call it asian kitch, but i
wouldn't want to insult anyone from asian descent just because some
dumb ass buys a Honda and needs to match his purse to his shoes, his
22" shoes .
"yea it sounded like he was in 9th gear .. heard him shifting for a while there"
lol how true when you think of 2fast 2furious, how many of you here have ever just watched the movie to count the number of times they shift.. i did once, i think i lost count, but im still trying to figure out why they were shifting so much on the highway lol
