Don't know what spec car that is but lower end formulas, like Formula Ford 1800 and F4 can be raced for about £15000 a season including the purchase costs of the car, if you have to be competitive in a front running car which is a tiny fraction faster then £30000 would just about cover the car. The problem with professional motorsport 5 years ago it would have cost 10 times the amount to run a Formula Ford in the National Championship by a professional team, the same car can now be run for a fraction of that in club motorsport and it is faster than it used to be due to running slicks These cars are about as fast as club motorsport goes and their still less than the top racing Caterhams and Mallocks that can just keep up.
