Don't know what spec car that is but lower end formulas, like Formula Ford 1800 and F4 can be raced for about £15000 a season including the purchase costs of the car, if you have to be competitive in a front running car which is a tiny fraction faster then £30000 would just about cover the car. The problem with professional motorsport 5 years ago it would have cost 10 times the amount to run a Formula Ford in the National Championship by a professional team, the same car can now be run for a fraction of that in club motorsport and it is faster than it used to be due to running slicks
