Ok, actually I got it that way first but I wasnt sure But I don't agree with that... there was at least GP2 released year earlier and GPL was released around the same time than GT1. The first one is the only one I've owned (and liked). I'd even put it to my top20 of games.

well...i dont know the release date of GT1 but wasnt it something around 96/97?
and GPL has never had a console version or?
ive never played GPL or GP2 so i cant make a decision which is better (i was happy to own a PS1 back then ).

GP2 (Grand Prix 2) was released in 1996 and GPL in 1998... wikipedia didn't have exact dates.
