Don't know if it ever did (maybe a few years back), but they could see Wankels as a threat and banned them before anyone used them in an FIA series.

Did the FIA used to run LeMans? I know the ACO has been running for as long as I can remember, but it may not have always been the case I suppose..

The 787 is famous because it's the only rotary powered car and the only japanese car to win LeMans. I don't see why it's infamous.

I think LeMans cars are limited by liter capacity...i think...maybe? A rotary can make more power per liter than a piston engine, while also being smaller and lighter. This gives it an advantage over cars in the same class, which is why I believe it was banned (not only at LeMans.) just speculation though.
(btw, i would love to see a rotary powered car in lfs. Maybe put a rotary in the FOX... )

On topic: what's all this talk about using trk maker with S2??? Your going to get his hopes up.

Make a server list with only official tracks, and one with the modified ones. Would be nice and separates the modding from the originals.

Well, they'd get into the problems they have now with the Diesels; The diesel boys (Audi/Peugeot) are complaining that they have too strict restrictions, the gasoline boys are complaining that the diesels have a massive advantage.

We are not sure when the next patch will be out. Maybe on x-mas, with a big surprise, who knows?
