Maybe they have all reaslised how popular GP2 is becoming, so they are all trying to build identicle cars.

Omg, like this hasnt happened before (sarcasm)

this has become rediculous. I prefer GP2 now.
Why don't they just legalize "spying", then every team will hire 007, and we'll be fine!

i know it's illegal and if proven guilty punished accordingly, I am just pointing out my disappointed in this happening again.
I caught Nick Fry looking at my bike the other day, and I called a plumber to fix my boiler and he looked uncannily like Mike Gascoyne. They just can't help themselves.

Is this mclarens way of saying its Alonso's fualt?
Erm, no, I don't think so.

Alonso hasn't been implicated in either case, although he was slightly involved in the former.
Quote :‘One way of doing this would be simply to say that all teams are forbidden from scoring points until 2025, except Ferrari’ he admitted. ‘Frankly, it would be a lot more straightforward than the original way they were going to use to get that rule introduced’

Why did SniffPetrol have to write this, surely that's just tempting fate with the FIA?

No, it's just that they don't understand anything about sportsmanship, I guess. So they put the blame on the damaged part.
I just wonder when the final decision comes

100 millions!
If Renault get anything less than Mclaren in terms of a punishment, then the whole F1 community will be up in arms (except Ferrari).

Bringing disks full of data with him from Mclaren, loading it onto his Renault computer, then showing engineers. Sounds worse than the Mclaren case to me.
Quote from Alkanphel :Renault has admitted to possession of McLaren data, but denied using them.

Which is what McLaren did. I agree with QS, they should get exactly the same punishment McLaren got. They won't, of course, because this is the world motorsport council and they don't believe in legal precedent.
So... exclusion from the 08 season constructor's championship?

Indirectly, didn't Renault also have possession of Ferrari stuff too?

Why except Ferrari? Just because they're satisfied with the outcome of this championship?
Well its one less car for them to overtake on the track, we know how much Ferrari hate that.
Now F1 has been dull for the past few years and they are clearly trying to make it more interesting.

On this forum there is a load of argumets about drifting not being racing because it's not about who is fastest.

I pronounce that F1 is not racing because it's not about who is fastest but who has the best lawyers.

All these "scandals" are just stupid. Engineers, drivers, mechanics and other people change teams all the time are they required to have a lobotomy before they leave a team? No and therefore bring information from their previous team to the new one.

Now they are examining McClaren's car for next year to see if it has some resemblance to the Ferrari. Duh! It has four tyres an engine independent suspension is RWD and a silly aerokit. They has copy-pasted ferrari! BAN!!!

What about this protest raised by maccyC about the fuel temperatures? First thay are all "We just want to clarify this issue. No we don't care about the championship". But in the hearing they are all spouting about how they should give the drivers championship to Hamilton...

F1 has gone down the drain all the way to the sewage treatment plant.
