What you do with your wheel?
It depends how lazy a mood I'm in, but still, I tend to leave the G25 set up only because it's just a LITTLE bit too time consuming for those instant racing urges...

Generally I leave it seup on the desk, but if I feel like playing a keyboard/mouse game, or a bit of photoshopping then it goes on the floor. The cables are such that I don't need to unplug anything though.

Thanks to using a Dining Table as a desk i just undo the screws and push it to one side
^ Yup. I just loosen the screws and move the wheel to the left, so I can put my keyboard back to where it belongs. Pedals aren't an issue to begin with, and my shifter unit is mounted on a custom drawer attachment anyway, which I can easily unhook and put away if it bothers me, but mostly it stays where it is.
I leave the pedals under the desk, take the wheel off and put it on the floor next to me. I can't leave it attached because I bolt it to my keyboard tray - wouldn't get much work done with a DFP in the way.

+1 minus the shifter.
I just put it on the floor, where it's been sitting for the few months I haven't had windows installed (I lost the install disk).
Pedals stay on floor, wheel and shifter slide to the side of the desk (and the wires generally drag anything on the desk (cups of tea, CDs, car bits) with it over the edge...)
G25 is permanently attached to the desk. I`ve got used to typing with the left hand only since the keyboard is now way over there <<<
I don't have a desk, my PC is set up in front of the sofa (yes, we're sad in our house!)
My pedals stay put, but I sit the wheel off to the side when it's not in use.

I'd like to get a G25, but I'm not sure how well it'd work sitting on my knee. I get the impression it'd probably launch itself across the room
I just leave it were it is.

Hehe nice :P
Well, I have my wheel in the middle of the desk .. I just slide across to my keyboard which is next to it .. saves me from having to slide the wheel.
I do the same as most people. Seing as i have a large open desk, i just undo it and slide it away from me. As for my keyboard, its wireless so i just leave it somewhere on my desk when done or i put it on my lap while typing
Large desk but too many monitors means I put it on my shelf when it's not in use. I used to use the floor but it got in the way down there too.
When I`m done with it I just lies it down under the desk
So when I need racing again it`s simply just to put on the desk and I`m ready.
Elderado - Is that a home-built setup? Or did I miss something HUGELY AWESOME at Toys R Us?
Wow, that's pretty insane
The wheel stays there for life; I only move it for cleaning and such, otherwise it's there, REALLY close (too close...) of my keyboard, making my room to look like a Smart even though it's HUGE!
I pull the wheel off and set it on the floor. The kids play on the computer during the day, and the 7 year old I've shown how to unscrew the clamps. The wife just would yank it off no matter how many times I've told her to undo the screw clamps, but the 7 year old unclamps it every time. Problem is, she goes WAY overboard unscrewing it and it takes half an hour to screw them back in, LOL.

Pedals stay on the floor, or the platform I built for under the desk to be exact.
If I told you what I did with my wheel, you'd be calling the CTRA on me, to take me to prison... :hide:

You've recently stated what you do with your wheel in another thread. At least you alluded to what you do....
I'm sorry Mike, I didn't know that FFB was the reason why Pennsylvania outlawed Jaffa Cakes.
I voted that I leave it on the desk, but I don't really do that because I don't have the desk space (I used to with a really long desk I had ).

Instead, I just take the G25 off the desk and put it underneath to my right... where there is just enough space for it underneath the drawers. I've also neatly wired the cables so they are a 'part' of my desk and they don't get in the way of my feet if the wheel is mounted or unmounted. All I have to do is grab the wheel and the shifter and pull it up onto the desk and screw it down. Works quite well.

Only thing in the closet right now is a nice joystick for when I want to play a flight sim (rarely), and my old red momo wheel (always wondered if I should try and sell it on ebay).

Pedals stay on the floor and act as a footrest
I do this with mine
