Interesting, who would we have to approach for that? It may be a low-volume British sportscar company, but the Ultima GTR is the holder of several world records, and not currently represented in any other racing sim (AFAIK).

I think lfs really needs V8 cars.. Old v8 cars like 67' Mustang or Charger. I think there is no racing sim where you can drive with old v8 cars.

but mainly, have a full on tuning system and have the models modable(so we can make production cars annonymously and not be sued for copyright or loyalties).
^but there is the concern for cheating in races and cheating for hotlaps

but you can fix that with compitition rules... as in engine size and boost value and whatnot, just like in real sanctioned events!

i don't know, but i think i am satisfied with the current selection of "stock cars" If they have a "tuning tool" ppl would start making all those production cars in a week or so.

I Agree with what alot of you are suggesting, a muscle car would be great, and as a few have suggested, some sort of mustang/camaro/challenger amalgamation would be ideal, and to have that v8 tone would be a huge attraction to the game

Id like to see the musclecar with alot of grunt, but bad around corners (so it could compete with say, rb4, RAC, ect)

Another suggestion would be to add a dedicated dragster to the game, a top fueller, capable of sub 5sec passes on AU 8 lane. (itd be cool to see some unique setup options for such a car, with boost level, (supercharger) nitrous level, ect

And, finally STAGING IN DRAG RACING!!

Replace the Rac's motor with a inline 6?? Give it alittle bit more weight to keep it planted... Although it's good now

personally; the what i'm missing is to have that damn FXO GTR to wear knobbly / offroad tyres. only another variation of that car should be added for the RALLYCROSS thing.. DOH

RAC is a real car, made by students from the Helsinki university.

Small, lightweight roadsters.. Similar to the Toyota MR2, Mazda Miata, and Fiat Barchetta, just to have both MR, FR and FF drivetrains. A spec class of all 3 of them wouldn't be bad either..

There should be like another set of GTR cars including like a GTR Hardtop RAC with a rollcage n stuff (RAR) and the RB4 R, and then a completely new GTR car with some V8.

I think LFS has the cars pretty well covered, but we're missing a few important ones:

Single-seater coverage is excellent (Formula BMW, Formula Renault 2000, Formula 3000, and Formula 1), but LFS is missing the grass-roots: karts. Just one Formula A spec kart would be nice.

LFS is missing prototype sports cars. A car similar to the Audi R10 or Peugeot 908 would be very good. Heck, why not both?

Dedicated top-end rally cars. The RB4 is nice, but we should have something in the WRC class or the old Group B class.

A MR (Midengine) V6 3.2 L NA in that same class. (NSX Like)

A FR Inline 6 NA 2.8/3.2 With almost 50/50 Weight Dist. (M3 Like)

A FR V8 NA 5/5.7 OHV or 4.8 OHC with more like 58/42 Weight Dist
In that same category (It could seem like to much Engine for to little horse but I had a Camaro RS 92 with the 5.0 TBI and only 170HP and I loved the low end grunt the Z28 with 240hp was my first option but i was to shot on the money I regret not saving enought)

An XR GT but with a 2.4 NA Inline four making about 240 hp (968 like)

Hot Hatches 4/4.2 meters long with AWD in standard form and about 200/240 Hp 2L Turbo Inline four With the respective Dirt Track Version the RB4 seems out of place in dirt/gravel/Ice need a much more agresive body like the Delta Integrale Evo/EscortCosworth.

In the Fz50 car segment there is need to have more cars.

And what I really like to see is the next segment from 400 to 450 hp but remaining sporty (no, not new M3 territory here) I mean FZ50 Bi Turbo (Only Rear weel drive please)class here more weight but nothing more than 1500Kg, a Highly tuned OHV 6.0 V8 FR (Like the Vette) with good Weight Dist. Torque monster, V12 MR 5.0 in an sleek car like the diablo and a FR V12 3/4L Like the old ferraris.
