Lately I've been going "damn, I can't see the apex" quite a few times. The problem was the a-pillar that - mostly in South City - blocked the view from the turn-in point to the apex and big parts of the track completely.
I know there could be quick fixes like use chase-view (hahaha), change FOV or sitting positions - but this will also change perception in a negative way. I mean, there's a reason why you choose this many degrees of FOV and so on.
In real life you'd simply tilt or turn your head a bit... or not even: you have two eyes and they reduce the blind spot to a certain degree.
So now to the suggestion: make the a-pillars transparent. Not the whole pole - real life pillars do limit the view in real life too. Just make like the outer 3rds or 5ths transparent. I think it'd would help a lot.
