I sincerely doubt we'll see this in LFS. The other two BMWs were through deals with other parties, not through BMW themselves. The fact that we have two real Beemers is purely coincidental. This has to be explained everytime a BMW comes up....
I doubt Bangle had any hand in the development of the race car.
Are you refering to the Furai? That car is the most beautiful concept car I've seen in years. Full stop.
It's nice, four major makes now in GT2. Too bad it's GT2 that seems have the most competition while all other classes are going down the toilet in ALMS.
edit: whoops, I didn't notice this project is for 2009
We know Tristan, someone caught you the other day with a new perm sitting in your MX5
The car doesn't do anything for me. Nothing on it screams "get out of my way" or "don't mess with me" It does look well put together, most BMW's do, but they don't give me any emotion.
I really don't care what it looks like. BMW finally needs to get a proper car out there. I mean, last time I checked they actually had to put an effort into it to win in the WTCC. That's not in the tradition of german car engineering.
Those seventies 'batmobiles' still tickle me somewhere I shan't mention... In comparison this GT2 car looks refined and tasteful, too clean, white, and virginal perhaps. Really not sure where the 'ugly' opinion is coming from, but I'll bet it'll look a bit different once its race cherry is popped...
2009... Shame; would really like to see this at Sebring in March...
