I guess it wouldn't be that hard to mod the DDS file(s) so they look like the old rails back from S1 times, but they'd probably affect other track's rails too

Theres a skin like that in Fel's AI pack, made me chuckle that it got put in.
It's almost as bad as putting 'bodykits' on the skins.

It says Scawen Roberts, Eric Bailey, Victor Van Vlaardingen in the skin file, so it might be done by SCAVIER themselves.

I'll have to send off a message to the devs, then. I think that funky RB4 skin was done by Kidcodea, and if so there's probably others in there not done by them.
