so tell me who is confused? tell me about what i said that is so weird and baffling to you? This forum is the worst experience ive had of LFS. almost enough to stop me playing the game completely. why is that confusing?

every thread you have started wanting help from the community, did you not recieve friendly, helpful replies?? i do see the couple of replies that were kinda smartassy, but i dont see where that makes your forum expierence so bad! i understand danowat's comments, many people have tried to help you out and all you can seem to do in return is focus on the negative comments made here and flame all of the helpful people! i think if you go back through each of the threads in question, and read through both your comments, and the replies you recieved, you will see why i am so confused by your comments! i cant find anything that bad in any of the replies you have recieved! like i said, it seems to me that you want this community to be crap and nothing is going to change your mind!! i think that is very sad!!

im not overreacting to all those negative comments, that tells me a lot about the people im trying to get along with, and i dont want to spend my time on a game where everyone is being sarcastic or calling me a noob to everything i say, or for wanting to flame me for trying to get more out of this game than the arcade action im getting right now.

i came here to get more from my LFS game and i realised it just made me not enjoy the game now because i know for a fact that there is no decent community for me to start racing in. the people are just going to call me noob because im new and make stupid comments about my new experience of the game. sorry i was enjoying the game. now im not, does that make you happy? surely this is what you all want, me to be negative like everyone else?

im pretty cheesed off i even bothered to put my username and password into this forum but sadly i had to try and find some sort of help because i was just being called a noob in game. i come to the forums, get some sarcastic comments. what else do i do. i feel very deflated because in game theres no interaction and come to the forums to find a bunch of old timers who hate new guys.

once again, you are focusing on the negative comments you have recieved, but ignoring all the positive ones! every question you have asked, you have recieved several replies from diffrent people offering you help! it seems to me that you are the one wanting everyone to be negative, not us! you just asked... "what else do you do"?? well you ignore the smart asses and thank the kind people that ARE trying to help you!! there is not much more me or anyone else can say to you!! you keep calling this community "not decent", why is that?? because of the two or three sarcastic comments you have recieved??? what about the nice and helpful comments?? ive counted two smartasses and around 15-20 people trying to help you out!! whats so bad about that??

why dont you stop bye one of our servers tonight, if your available, and give me and a couple others a chance to show you how helpful and nice this community really is!!

and to answer your last question... yes it is very hard to understand when 90% of replies you have recieved have been helpful replys!!

I've been around the net since the old BBS days, and this have to one of the most unintetionally surreal posts I have ever read.

You have a guy, he comes here, asks for advice, gets the answer to his question, blows up in another thread, says the whole community is "crap", and pulls some kind of sob story/hissy fit, Wow.....

TBH I think most "noobs" wouldnt blow up or react to a couple of sniddy posts like you did, jesus MAN (according to your post you are, well at 24 you should be) grow a thicker skin.

edit: aparantly the only way im going to get to know people is in game, except everyone is too busy racing to talk. and also i need to buy a wheel, and i know how to edit my F1-F8 keys but im a laughing stock because i want to.

TBH, its the racing I truly care about Richy. I try and race with the best of all intentions in mind and hopefully you do to. Whatever is said or done on here is just second to that . . .

no-one said your a laughing stock because you wanted to change your f-keys!! it took me 6 months before i even knew i could change them at all!! too busy racing to talk??? obviously youve never joined a [noob] server!! we dont have time to race cause we are to busy talking!! u dont need to buy a wheel either, some of the more faster people i race with use mouse!! like i said, stop by our servers anytime you would like and we will show u a good time!! dont let the 3 or 4 smartasses on here give you the feeling that the forums 5000+ members are all jerks, it just not true!!

ok im going to race online for a while and just play the game like i have been, i guess this whole thing turned sour now it wasnt meant to be as long as this i was going to just stop playing but somehow i kept hanging on to it like i never wanted to stop anyway i guess

i love to race too i love it when certain things happen in the game that make you go "yeah that was cool!!!" like when your braking into the turn 2 of SO town reverse and the back end steps out and your pumping the brakes and downshifting to first but still manage to get the car back straight in time to turn left.

I find the WR ones just impossible to drive, but they do give some valuable information if you know where to look.

Locked Diff in the FXR doesn't float my boat. I have tried it but I just couldn't get it to work. All your lines have to change and it was taking me too long to get used to it.

You have to remember that the FXR (Assumingly based on the Porsche 911) is a rear wheel drive, rear engined high powered motorcar (the onus here being on the Rear engined, rear wheel drive). It will be very twitchy in general anyway. It takes practice to master, but can give you great rewards once you have. It still kicks me in the balls when 'I'm not concentrating . .

LFS takes time. Don't expect quick rewards, it ain't going to happen. LFS rewards dedication and practice . . . Read around a bit and learn what you can. And enjoy yourslelf . . .

1.) It's a bit of banter, people having a laugh. Just laugh with them! Don't take it so bloody personally!
2.) It's the internet! It's not as if these people are knocking on your front door and arguing with you in the street now is it?
