Poll : Designer or cheap and cheerful?

I'll wear either as long as it suits my taste and is the right price.

Quote from SamH :I prefer stuff from Walmart. NOT from ASDA (Walmart in the UK) because it's crappily made. Clothes bought in the US are 10x better quality per $ than from the UK. It's a sad fact that they succeeded in getting us used to buying utter shit in the UK. We've forgotten what decent quality materials are. I just get care packages sent over from Chicago these days, if I need new clothes.

You do know walmart own asda? So the clothes are the same. Asda is part of the walmart group lol.

They're the same company now, but the clothes they sell are not the same. I bought almost all my clothes from Walmart when I lived in the US, but the quality of the clothes when I go shopping at ASDA is not the same at all.

Aston Martin and Volvo are both part of the Ford Group.

Your point?

Sam's lying. He didn't buy his clothes from Walmart.

He was their cover girl for the flyers and advertisements.

That would be true last year. Ford sold aston to that chinese company.
I'll spend decent money on a suit or a nice pin-point oxford, but that's it...

But.. Aston martins are kinda the same as Volvos in that the door mirrors and window switches are the same

I just bought 3 t-shirts at 10 euros, I think that should be standard price of shirts really...
Nike Air Max 90's ftw ..130€ though for the shoes, i also bought a pair of "Le Coq Sportif" shoes wich are nice for about 90€. But my clothes are mostly not that expensive, just the shoes
I buy whatever if the price is right.

The most money I spent on a piece of clothing was £90 on my leather jacket. Reduced from £200. TKMaxx.

I spent about £60 on my shoes (Adidas Superstars) but they last for ages, are comfy and never go out of fashion.

But I never buy stuff just for the name.
This year I've been mostly wearing green clothes with camouflage, so I pick free and cheerful. (?)

I think the most i ever spend on clothes is these horrid school uniforms.
I'm the kind of person who feels uncomfortable in name brand clothes. I usually just buy something cheap and then run it into the ground and then keep on wearing it because I feel weird in new clothes and I hate shopping.

Bit of a slob really. But getting better.
