Hey people!
So i was just messing around with the setups trying to find/tweak existing setups, to make "easy to drive" BF1/AS7 set. So i went off to inferno and there was no Y version setup of that combo so i went to "Old setups" and found one there. Tweaked TC abit to suit my driving style and it came out pretty good, it was stable on the track, could drive the fast corners at full throttle without losing the end with full control of the car at all the time (no drifitng). Now the tyres are R2 with Front pressure -
120/120 and camber +0.2/+0.2 and the rear 120/120 and camber -1.3/-1.3. The tyres burn after 2 laps-ish.
So lets say i have a 40 lap race with 1 must pit stop. I would make the stop and lap 20, in the middle of the race. So in order for my tyres to stay alive i tried these options:
R4/R4, Front Pressure-137/137-ish camber +0.5/+0.5
Rear Pressure- 140/140-ish camber -0.5/-0.5
And guess what, it ruins the setup, the tyres do hold on in one peace but it seems like i lose all the grip to the track. The rear end of the car just runs off when trying to drive those fast corners at full throttle, and the chicane is almost impossible, i mean if my tyre touches any kerb i am most likely to get a spin.
So i want to ask, can anyone review both setups and help me to keep a stable car/grip and the control of it with longer race tyres?
Or maybe you got a setup that you dont mind sharing that somehow matches my explanation of what i need.
I would be really grateful. Thanks
