Well technically you will always be on your own......unless one of us flies over to you and physically does it for you....
I didn't mean that in a smart way or anything, just that if that didn't help you I wasn't going to go looking for you. You got lucky that someone new, that hasn't seen this question asked, decided to help. But if you used your own time and own initiative you could have easily found out that info on your own...
Cut the start and the end of the part of the video you want to slow down with the knife-tool. Right-click on it and click speed/duration. Then choose 50% or any other value that looks good.
Additionally, you can add a transition, additive dissolve, between the normal and slomo clip. This gives a very cool effect!
Check out the Trial for Sony Vegas. It's pretty much just point and click, so very easy for video editing beginners. If you want the advanced feeling, go for the Adobe After Effects Trial.
idk if its ok to post a movie i made here...well anywayz heres one...its from my Demo days...if anyone has suggestions of how to make my movies better plz feel free to comment or send me a message
Hey guys, I need some help. Typically I make videos with music in the background but I'm working on a race broadcast with a soon to come deadline... Problem is that when I record LFS with Faps (full version) I have no sound. I have tried fraps in both detect best sound input and windows input but both produce no or little sound. At this point I have turned up the sound in both Realtek HD Audio monitor and Windows Vista but I still have no sound. The only other thing I could think of is that the audio format (24 bits, 48000 Hz) in Realtek isn't correct for LFS... Any ideas?
Record with sound is of course always turned on and I'll go ahead and guess that it's not anything in the fraps setup. I can get fraps to record sound from the mic but nothing else... When I originally found the problem it said "Realtek HD Audio Manager" for the sound device but in the screen shot you'll see it's set to microphone, that's new to me. Both ways it recorded sound from the mic, therefore I has to be a setting in my Audio Manager... at least I would think.
Yeah where can i find this? And also dunno if this is the same thing, but i remember seeing a video where it looked really amateur, like someone had put a hud of a camera onto it, like a battery bar and the lines of focus ect, but he also had the video wobbling slightly as if it was an acctual person holding the camera. I can do the hud bit, i just need to know about the wobbling camera effect?
Also i spent all last night trying to convert my video to right formats, but i cant find one
I did all the vdub thing, i recorded at half speed, sped it up, and saved it as xvid. But when i play it through it seems like that cars going waay faster then it was normally Also i tried to compress it as divX but it wouldnt let me i have no clue why?
So what should i do? Becuase when i open up the craps i mean fraps file in wmm and add a double speed effect and then save it it comes out at a nice speed, but if i do it in vdub it doesnt
I also have adobe after effects so maybe i can compress it in that? Ive already tried it but it doesnt seem to work that well
Also does anyone know any other high quality but low'ish file size formats?
And my last question is what formats should i save my video in for:
1. High Resolution Download
2. Youtube
?
If anybody could answer any of these id be very very grateful
Migz
For the shake effect try google for "Quake script" to use with vegas.
Video speed: On the editor did the video and sound looked and sounded good before rendering? You should record with fraps at 30 fps, put lfs at 30 fps, save at 0.500 speed, import to editor, double the speed on video and pitch up the sound too. Then you should render it using uncompressed file format. Then watch it if it's ok, and then compress it using Vdub...dviX or Xvid...but i think dvix it's better.

There was stage 6 but its shut down now... and veoh just looks eird... the quality is bull.
I need a good streaming website with good quality!
