Here are a few shots I did for the SCCC guys, in reply to the "Looking for PS guy" thread. I don't know if they will use them as banners yet, but anyway, I thought I'll post some of the pictures.
hmm dont see anything special about 5 and 6.... certainly some very nice photoshop work... by no means am i dissing you work. For me it has to be picture number 3. I dont know why but that picture just works and looks nice. The flame is a little odd but it still goes nicely with the rest of the image....
To get a picture like that you'd really need to be using a technique known as 2nd curtain flash sync, meaning that the flash would fire at the end of the [relatively slow] exposure as the photographer panned through the shot. Therefore if you added some reflective highlights to the car and brightened the foreground a little it would look more realistic.
Here's a couple of examples that I took at a "bash" last summer and although I took them on a bright sunny afternoon it's still quite plain that the flash has fired. I have resized/cropped these but other than that, they are exactly as they came off the camera.
hehe.. doesnt go against the rules if the skins are on his own home computer only... if he uses them online then they do go against the rules...
never understood why any1 would want to stick a pair on their car.. maybe to put others off... must admit i would find it quite funny pressing the look back button and seeing a big pair on the bonnet.....
Like I said, just stitches. The fact you can't tell they've been edited means I didn't screw it up I wanted to get close shots of my two newest paintjobs, so I sent the AI out in them. Unfortunately they couldn't stay close for long, so got some screen caps from static cameras over a few laps and stitched em.
