I'm getting dangerously close to the 500 limit. I really don't want to sift through them all because most of it is complete crap - but I'm a hoarder so I keep pretty much everything that has been sent to me, in case I need it later. I don't usually, but you never know!

Cmon people 500 messages honestly not enough? It's more than any other forum I have seen, take an hour and give it some maintenance, you don't need 500 PM's that cannot be saved locally on your HHD...

Old posts are kept for eternity, why not PMs?

I've cleared mine out 7 or 8 times now and probably lost important stuff. I'm not gonna sit through sorting out PMs every few months I just delete old the old pages of them en mass.

I dont really understand why the limit is a quantity, why not an age, is a limit even needed?

Meh, cleaned mine out yesterday. It looks so bare now
