Wow, the default cars seem to look decent now. Too bad there won't be any default car left once it arrives on PC!! :P

*Ready to start IMG Tool and Handling Editor*
HAHAAHA that made me laugh
Quote from Jakg :Ok, it does look a bit better than I thought :P

I still don't remember GTA SA looking that bad, but meh.

www.gta4.net or www.gta4.com
i dont remember which, but there are some good pics of multiplayer and the atmosphere
Lol! @ Op!
GTA IV on PC this November
Yay!

(EDIT) Oh, and:
Quote from press release :the latest installment in the enormously successful Grand Theft Auto series features... ...newly expanded multiplayer just for the PC.

Yay, no more SA:MP or VC:MP or these other unrelieaable craps! Finally! Was about time they do it!! Can't wait to get it.
GTA SA does not look bad thought [see attachments]

(thanks Boris Vorontsov )

The game doesn't have Viper nor Evolution X thought, I couldn't find other screenshots on my PC and I have no time to take other pictures but the default cars looks as great as the modded ones

PS: It has multiplayer (as you know)!
SA-MP 0.2.2 R3.. the best ATM, everything synchronized, no lag, and the lowest ping (of course it depends on the server you go, for example if I enter a CHINESE server the ping will be 9999³³ because its located exactly on the opposite side of Earth)

Your models are very high poly velo, you need a decent system for that i think.
But the mp on ps3 is really great.
looks nice,i cant wait until it comes on pc,which is november 18. in usa and 21 in europe.
I can only check the news when i get home from work
I am hearing rumours of cross platform multiplayer with PC and xbox360, sounds interesting.

I have just finished the main story mode in GTA4, and it was brilliant
Looking forward to get it on computer
same here.

There have been similar rumours for other games and it has never happened.
I think it has not happened yet because PC players will need to be handicapped as the mouse/keyboard is a lot quicker/more accurate than a joypad.

Not with the auto-aim system on ;p
From playing various GTAs on console and on PC, it's *miles* easier to play using mouse to manually aim rather than the auto-aim on a pad.

The only handicap I can see is the split second it takes you to change from mouse/KB to pad and back when you get in or out of a car.

It may actually be worthwhile playing this with a wheel with the slightly less arcadey vehicle physics.
I really hope there is no cross platform, the whole point of having a PC version is to avoid the console morons you get online.

Then you difinely never played CS:S.
Well the problem with the console is its hard to avoid the idiots, you need to be able to make dedicated servers that have admins. I usually don't go online for the deathmatch crap, or just plain racing. I like chilling out with my mates doing crazy stunts or just having a little destruction derby.
Has anyone played this with their wheel on their console?
Well now that its announced, I'm thinking:

Will my PC handle this??

Can't wait for the requirements from Rockstar.

Here's my opinion:

GTA IV

RM's Guess On System Requirements:

Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP processor (2.XGHz)
1 GB of RAM
16 speed DVD-ROM drive
8 GB of free Hard Disk space for a full install
256(+) MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers (Probably a Nvidia 7XXX+ or a ATi ?????? Card)
DirectX 9 compatible Surround Sound Card
Keyboard
Mouse
Game pad AND steering wheel

That's just a guess, but GTA games were never know to be hard on graphics. I runned every GTA (From GTA I to San Andreas) on my older computer with a Nvidia GeForce FX5700 and 512 RAM without problem. The only graphic demanding moments will prolly when moving really fast in a car and when there's particles (smoke, explosion) just like in the other GTAs. That's my opinion.
Because their certainly aren't any idiots in PC gaming, are there............
