Looking at three of my friends (which all had at least one accident each) you will either crash into someone at a T-junction, or flip your car trying to change a CD, or fly into a river because you underestimated a crest....

If Jakg is anything like my brother his first small accident will be with some expensive luxury auto. He'll try to pull into a parking space next to the luxury car, but he'll end up scraping the entire side of it. Then, after inspecting the damage and seeing there were no witnesses, he'll happily drive away and find a new parking spot.

I'm betting distraction by the girls on his lap and the sterio boosted to max volume will result in a crash into some 89 year old driving a 2CV.

... This is why when I can drive with full licence, I'm not letting any girls in the car with me... because I'd die.

I did crash my first car. Pretty much right after I got my license, about 2 weeks. But having a brake line split on me putting my brake pedal to the floor when I tried to stop, on top of the guy sitting at a stand still waiting for traffic so he could merge when our path moved onto the bridge in it's own lane, thus not needing to merge, didn't help any.

It was an old car. I lost one brake line and lost all braking power. Things happen beyond your control, and when they do happen, experience helps to change the situation. I did not have the experience at the time, thus I had 1 smashed up car, and had to pay for a 2nd smashed up car, and had very upset parents. Today, if the same thing would happen, I can visualize about 5 different routes I could have taken that day to avoid an accident and saved any damage. But panic sets in with the inexperience and you can not think fast enough to rectify the situation safely.

If Jakg crashes during his first year on driving, I guess it's not going to be his fault.
