The 2008 oneGP F1 World Series Season Finale takes place on 15 November 2008 (two days before my 22nd birthday, btw). It'll be from South City Long Reverse (SO4R) and will run over 50 laps.

Even though the titles may be completely decided (barring uber circumstances), I hope to see a large grid and an exciting race.

Please, please, invite anyone you know who is a BF1 racer in LFS to this round. I would love to have a full, 20-car grid so this season could end with an exciting race. It'd make it more crowded on the tight city streets of South City, but full grids are always better. oneGP VIP entries for soloers welcome. Point them to this thread.

The team title is mostly sealed, but there is a mathematical chance. That being said, I want everyone who attends to race their hardest. Go for the win, take the checkers at the final race of the season. Enjoy it. It'll be a long race at 50 laps, but the more, the better it will be.

I'd like to thank everyone for what has been a very interesting season. I've enjoyed watching the competition, I've enjoyed working this season with you guys. I believe we all a massive thanks to SilverArrows77 who created this series. I've started to ponder a calendar for 2009. Details on that in the weeks after this season ends.

Hows about allowing teams to sport 4 drivers instead of the regular 2 with only the originally named drivers eligible to score?

just make a FRO#2 team... 1stBFA did it already in round 11... team #2 is not scoring points to the team championship in that case...

What would happen if 4 non-scoring drivers finish 1st-4th and a scoring driver came fifth? Would he get 10pts or 4pts?

they do score for the drivers championship, but they don't score for the team, so it would be the 4pts

@TenMan: A #2 team scores their own team points. 1stBFA Racing #2 is listed on the Team Standings.

Its a very slim chance that the team title will be won so it's not as crucial about lapped cars is it? Even on a tight track?

But if someone gives me a set, i'll frantically practice on Thursday and Friday night (coursework in for tomorrow and thursday :S ) and then come along having done some practice for the first time ever at an SO Race :P I usually just go to CTRA Race 1 for a bit to drive XFG's into the wall (not intentionally, its just such a tight track)

But this could be interesting [TC] CityDriving Sydney is SO City Long, but not reversed, so i know the track ok, but as i said, i'll get in touch with Crazy and Thatguy. 3 TC-R cars on the grid would be fun, and anything can happen at South City.

I staged an MRT race there a few days ago, and it was only 8 people, but there was still a pile up of 5 on the main straight under the safety car :S But Turn 1 on SO4R with 20 BF1's..... I dread to think :S

There has to be some cutoff. Its one of the shorter laps in BF1, 4s here is the equivelant of about 6s at FE Black or KYGP. People running so far off the pace will cause big problems here due to half the lap being a single line with no space to get out of the way.

IMO entries should be considered on suitability regardless of the team championship status (which hasnt been won by anyone yet). Itd be like saying it's ok to get in Lewis' way at Brazil as he'll probably win the title anyway (and look what happened on both occasions!).

Hey thats a great record youve got there P3te. Raced you a few times on AS Nat Redline BF1 servers IIRC. Your SO Long Rev BF1 time is very competitive . Sure you'll make a great addition

I just done a mock 50 lap race and couldn't beat 1.17.x with r4's lol i'll keep trying

Can't wait to see what the race is going to be like...

I don't really have a set time for the break to end but it'll be at least 2 months I'm guessing. Winter break is in a month and I'll be heading home to Miami for that month without a wheel. Then we'll see what happens when I get back. I might just try and go "videogame-less" for a while and see how much more productive I become tho.

I'll pop in every now and again though, even if not to race.
