Re activated fully working tried F2000 at Newbury
Few observations
Track - new layout much better than old layout with faster corners (old layout still selectable)
Sound - sounds really bad
but better than namie/single sampling and without any dobut IMO more accurate than LFS which although sounds nice sounds absolutley nothing like a racing production 4 pot, these engines sound pretty horrid IRL so it may not be that far off with a little tweaking.
FF - Found it about right more than I usually run but felt solid at 100%
UI - Awful worse than namie laggy windows.
Unlocking - failed first try/didn't tell me why I couldn't start the bloody car for 2 hours.
Physics - Great no where near the pace but it feels like a single seater in a way that LFS has never done. Unlike LFS I didn't come out think WTF happened then? I spun 3 times and stalled twice which is a neat touch. Too early to make real judgements yet. In no way reminded me of rFactor or any other sim for that matter and certainly hard to tell this has anything to do with the namie FR.
Graphics - Despite my critism of them before I actually like it in the flesh looks far better than LFS, bit too shiny but still perfectly readable and in no way artificial like rFactor. Yellow flags are waved from the Marshalls posts (no marshalls just a waving flag, they actually only look dodgy when you look straight at them maybe LFS could take inspiration from this?
Gravel - You will not get out of it finally a sim that gets this right very happy to get stuck
Dirt collects on visor/mirror/display.
Not yet crashed this car into an object unlike LFS I feel strangly fearful of crashing it maybe 2 hours trying to start it bonded me to the car
