Wow, alot has changed since i wrote my first post on the Drive_LFSS in-sim system created by Greenseed. Im not a very technical kind of guy more a driver. As i sit in the Aleajecta NARA lobby day in and day out and I see the system evolve and improve, i am forced to come back and say something again !.

Playing other car games for years and years and coming across to LFS confused me a little. for example the offline gameplay was dissapointing. But the Online gameplay, (having 32 cars and real people around you in a Physics rich atmosphere) made my knees tremble.

Driving in LFS makes you feel like you are there lets face it. LFS ROCKS !
you can do countless amounts of things that make you feel like you are actually there on the track.
Coming from other games as a noob to LFS, I noticed I have a different view point than that of some of the older players, who do and don't take some things for granted.

Now there are some systems out there that assist in racing and time/score management. I'm not sure i Should say there names, but we know what they are. These are critical I believe for feeling something other than the driving experience. Its the experience over the top.

Drive_LFSS is a system I have been trying out now for a few months. its still in development, just as LFS is.

It sits over the top of the game providing you with many different facilities

To be bold, I must simply ask one to goto an Aleajecta server and see for themselves the power of this new system and its potential to increase the fun on the track for all LFS drivers. To try and simply explain, in my words would under-estimate it.

Many people come in and out commenting on what a great system this is. it makes it all worth while, and a me a little bit proud when they do. I truly believe that this system in the future, COULD BE PART OF THE GAME ITSELF. Other poeple are already saying the same thing. Scawen Roberts, Eric Bailey and Victor Vlaardingen would have more time too concentrate on the wonderful game they have already given us, and someone else can concentrate on the gloss over the top. and when i say gloss I mean it. The power of the SHIFT i menu inside Drive_LFSS is Awesome. U must see for yourself.

Anyone is always welcome to come and try, im there alot. allthough i cant guarantee im always at the computer !!! but i'd be happy to race/practise(get beaten by you !) and talk about it or not lol. But do yourself a favour and come and have a look at an ALEAJECTA host sometime.

If you dont like what you see, then comeback again every week or 2. This project is growing at such an astonishing rate, its the reason, why i said go see it for your self.

Greenseed is the creator. He is very transparent and is always open for suggestions of any type. I have only known him since i had this game, (4 months or so) and since then I almost feel like a programmer. (trust me im as dumb as rocks when it comes to that stuff !) I can suggest something and actually see feedback on my suggestion. not long after if approved, I see it appear in the game, and wow thats such a great feeling to see your own idea. I've read the whole artice and I still don't know what this magical system is about. Anyone care to explain?

I've also read the first post and cant really see what this is about, hopefully not another cruising system or alike.

Come on, what is this about? Do you have a website or anything else? Some description of the whole thing? Being at work i can not connect to the server

I read the post, the web and I found NO information. I don't know nothing of what this server do. Even I went to drive few laps, and it has nothing special

As per other posts, I went to the website (can't get onto LFS at the moment) and found zero information that gave me an overview of the system. And the "wiki" txt document that I downloaded was empty.

Not so hard to see just look in core feature and game feature

I believe it is a lfslapper style app that greenseed is seeking to make alot more versitile. i.e. could possibly be used as a ranking system and or driver rating system along with many other possibilities. The project is still young, but has potential to be a well sort after app for server operators in time. The especially cool thing about this project is that greenseed is open to community involvement in what features are added. That's what I can see from limited knowledge of the project.

So this is the "Game Feature" page - it tells me the features, I guess, but really it doesn't tell me whole lot about the system in terms of the concept, what they want it to be and what separates it from Lapper, CTRA, etc. Most of the site is just technical jargon which I'm sure some people will understand. But what about me, the layman? What does this system do for the average arrive-and-drive LFS'er?

This isn't a critisism, I just want more information.

Nice way of advertising whatever it is your advertising without saying what it is.

I took a look at that project's trac site and realized I had already been there and had troubles already figuring out what that thing really is.

Is it too much to ask for a short meaningful explanation and also why it's so better than anything else?

I did a few laps in here the other day, its a new, slightly different system from others I've raced in and will be interesting to see where it heads from here and if any other servers pick it up.

For people that tryed a "aleajecta server" and did not notice anything different! can be because the Insim Software as Crashed ... so when you connect it was not there.

Im into the Alpha stage... that mean for me it OK to crash... since i don't wan to add multiple "if" statement to bypass crash but ****ing found why that happen! this make a whole difference after a long go to keep CPU free.

I will not do comparaison again other software! since this is not my duty or goal!


for people who think this is a kind of advert for my project! they surely right! since i think the post is about , "Did you notice that?" But i don't see the bad point into that!

Hey and I thought People in Forza 2 Forums Sucked, I was just stating my point of view, not advertising. After all I don't make the program and will never profit from it anyway.
Really good to see Some of the Constructive opinions. as for the other stuff, Maybe you should visit a Forza 2 Forum and bash some of those idiots, as for me I will continue to say what I believe and feel.
I also stated if you didn't like what u see come back again another time, makes me wonder if people are thinking about what i wrote, or just looking for publicity themselves. As for me I know where ill be, and who I want recording my info.
And just say, it WAS advertising, Well this LFS forum looks like a nice place to let people know what you think is new and exciting, and to "advertise" the fact to others, So maybe, just maybe ill be "advertising" again in the future !

Ho no! i don't think so! and my server are not at my home! but into Canix-2

most lfs server are onto EU network and between us and them we have only 2 pair of Wire so this is why ping is not good with EU

Just ran a few laps and really like the system. I especially like the way you can show LFSW stats in-server.

Might be an idea to have some way of reporting people - While I was on there there were a few wreckers appeared, drove a lap or two in the wrong direction, smacked into me a few times, then left.
