Same in a red Ford Fiesta, but then had to swap with my friends because their brakes failed and I was the only one willing to drive it back using the handbrake to help braking. Basically we rented the two crappest Fiestas and didn't treat them well.
How many anti-immigration types does it take to change a light bulb?
None.
They will sit there in the dark moaning and whinging for a few weeks. When someone comes in to the room to change the light bulb, they will start whinging about how someone "nicked their job".
I think, bearing in mind I've not spent much time thinking of the reply, that I would define someone as British as either being born here, having a UK passport... or something along those lines. And make the test for getting a passport much much tougher. And state that NO benefits can be claimed (incl. NHS) until they've lived in the country for 5 years. No 10. Okay 7. Or something along those very vague lines. Mr Badcrumble from country X won't come directly to England in quite such a hurry then - but if she does, and if she gets in, and if she passes the tests, and if she pays her way then she is welcome to a passport.
Those fleeing pursecution can stay for as long as it's deemed necessary. Once peace is restored they should be returned. Or at least moved back closer to where they live (i.e. in a neighbouring country).
Very very general terms you realise, and would need refining.
I don't want people to be allowed to complain someone else got a job because their black. But I don't want people to be able to complain that someone didn't get a job because they are black. Race is totally removed from all equations. Perhaps, for instance, job interviews, court cases etc could be carried out without being seen by the judge/jury/magistrate, and the voice be done by voice actors of random accent.
However, one exception should be made. Black people should not be allowed to host chat shows. It's almost impossible to understand what they say.
Black and white people can scrounge, so long as they are British by whatever means would define that (see above)
And I won't be voting for them either. Or giving them money. Or attending one of their 'secret but it's easy to find out when/where' meetings. Or applying for membership. But I want it known that I (and a heck of a lot of UK citizens) adore SOME aspects of SOME of the policies that the BNP hold close to their hearts. I bet many of the members on the leaked list are just like that - they vote conservative. They are nice, none racial, tolerant people, but they just want some of the sponges to feck off back where they came from.
Maybe you'll find that that countries equivalent of the BNP (and there will be one) will hunt you down!
Funny that, assuming Zanu Labour get their way you'll have a few years to get used to ID cards and being tracked anyway.
And don't think it'll be infinitely better in the EUSSR either...
See, I'm more worried about what the future holds under the LibLabCon and other statist parties, their end game could be worse than the BNP. We don't know.
The Lib Dems are totally against ID cards, the moment they approve of them I won't vote for them. I might vote for the BNP if they agree to deport Jeremy Kyle.
Yes, but mostly because there is no choice. We educate all the other countries, then they bugger off and make things. Meanwhile in Britain nobody wants to do a days hard work for sensible pay anymore. So we don't make anything. We are just a nation of services now. So, bearing in mind only 3 people in the UK are sufficiently able to make a pair of trousers I have little choice but to buy them in (and they're probably a UK design, on UK designed machines, using UK business practices (or Japanese)).
Grrrr.
Edit: Suddenly seems like the topic is more about hating Jeremy Kyle
I don't want an ID card. I'm going to refuse. Sod the consequences. If enough people do it (10) then the gaols will be full, and we'll all have to be let off. Or killed. I'm up for that.
In the Netherlands, there is a law which states that you have to carry your I.D. card at all times, if you're 14 years old or older. Not that I take it with me whereever I go, but meh.
I blame the Brits who think the country owes them a living. I think we should kick them all out and get in harder-working people from other countries instead.
But anyway you see my point. The people who complain about losing their jobs to cheaper foreign labour are happy to enjoy all the benefits of that cheap foreign labour and probably don't even think about how many of their essential goods they wouldn't be able to afford if we only had domestic suppliers to buy from. Why should tradesmen be exempt - my dad or whoever?
No doubt this will lead to a bigger argument about the EU's common agricultural policy...
Me too. **** 'em. I've never even been arrested before, let alone charged, cautioned or convicted, I'm not carrying an ID card. They can lock me up, I'm not doing it.
I'm up for that, but lets face it, so many people will be arrested we will just end up electronically tagged and be under house arrest, but either way we can all play LFS lots more than we do now.
