Jertje Yeah, RWD cars understeer into a corner when speeding, as was intended when they are manufactured for safety reasons, but if you're in a RWD car with and you mash the throttle in the middle of a corner, what's it honestly going to do? Understeer more? Brake? Or maybe create a rainbow and automatically drive to the moon, where it has tea with deceased racing drivers?
It'll oversteer, it's simply physics. When regular people experience understeer or oversteer, they will brake like hell, it's natural. Cars are manufactured to understeer because (amongst other factors) because of that. I'd rather be sitting next to someone braking under understeer, than braking under oversteer.
Conclusion:
You're taking the wrong arguments into the wrong context Jeff. Any decently built car will understeer naturally for safety reasons, but as was said: if you intentionally want to make a car oversteer, it won't be too difficult in a powerful RWD car. It's practically impossible to do in GT4 though, unless you use a crapload of momentum to swing the ass of the car around, don't you agree?

I totaly agree with you there.
and look at this page i stumbled upon while looking for info on GT4 mobile
I just drove the Topgear Test in GT4 and got a 1'37.892
Granted i drove it with a wheel.
That NSX R (according to GT4) is amazing(and it sounds amazing). no driving aids or anything all stock. I pushed harder, and the car performed
the suspension shifted alot under braking and accelerating, and in the corners(nothing new). a lot more than i expected while shifting
As he said you cant change your speed in the middle of the corner so i didn't.
It seemed i could always go faster through T4, and T5 though
Im watching the replay now
wait... THERE IS NO DRIVER IN THE NSX
well i guess Pholphony forgot something
another one of GT4's crowning achivements:shhh: :shhh:
no i couldn't sorry, as i said its an Eyetoy, not made for the pc,
my Mac laptop i got from school won't recognize it and the drivers dont work so thats the best i can do at the moment
really the corner i was entering at the end had a better "slide " if u will
but my sister stepped infront of the tv.
if anybody knows how to export a replay from GT4 please let me know.
i got the pc a while ago and i went back to their webstie for drivers adnd decided to see if i could make it again, they don't manufacture the 400 anymore, where did u get that info from?
i should have put this in the original post that JJ72 qutoed
i depends on the specs of the Vette
Did it have 600hp with normal tires?
or 376hp with super soft tires
Suspension? Gear Ratios? Clutch Plate(s)? Transmission? Fly Wheel? Carbon Driveshaft? Weight Reduction? There are many more. as well as weight shift
some of these changes may be small but they can greatly effect the performance of the car
it depends really on the circumstances
If it was a stock Vette idk, maybe it will maybe it won't.
did the post even say he was turning the wheel??illepall
Its too late to be arguing about stuff i can't pronounce at 11:30pm
But good point and well put
I was wondering if anyone had tried playing GT4 online.
IK there is a company in the UK that does it for free havent tried it yet. i was wondering if anyone else has?
I've had My PS2 for about 4-6 years, still dont have the network adapter.
was about to but then i got an Xbox and along came Forza MS and now LFS and soon back to GT4 iit seems
did they give you a booklet? anything with a website? phone #?
A assume if it came with a disk with drivers you tried those?
My old DFP wheel that i used to use in nascar 05' had a similar problem. but there was nothing i could do because it was a console game. some games don't support certain wheels. seeing that that wheel is "one of a kind" or so it seems this game may not support it. it was and is being made by 3 geeks in a garage as i like to say.
but then again it could be a super easy fix we're over looking.
double check everything. see if you missed something.
just curious how much did u pay for the wheel? (PMs ok)
